From Ashley's blog:

People may speculate I was attracted to the "bad boy," or maybe they thought I wanted what I couldn't have. The truth is that I always look for the good in people, and I saw that in him. I only knew what he showed me, and I felt it to be real at the time. I can tell you that from the bottom of my heart, I don't remember ever feeling this depth of hurt and embarrassment. Unfortunately, it's not the last you will see of Bentley.

I would have preferred that they end it with a "period," but you know Fleiss has to drag this crap out all season.

In my opinion once the producers heard Bentley say he was not into Ashley they should have escorted him to the airport and put him on the next plane home. They bear considerable responsibility for this painful situation they didn't create but allowed to play out.

Although I want to feel sympathy for Ashleys' Bentley situation, I can't muster much up.

I too think she's one of these women that always goes for the guy that isn't interested in her or available. She was warned about him but still decided to believe everything he said to her. I wouldn't be surprised if she "feel in love" with a married man and believed him when he tells her that he can't leave his wife YET because of the kids or whatever other excuse men give in that situation.

She's got some really nice, handsome and successful guys to pick from but she goes straight to the guy she was warned about....silly girl!

Bentley is a jerk, yes, but Ashley is an idiot when it comes to guys.

The "dot-dot-dot" definitely came from Bentley and not Ashley. If you listen closely,at one point, he even whispered to her... "call me".

What a piece of work Bentley is. UGH. And, I heard him say "dot dot dot", not Ashley.

I am definitely on the JP love train. I've been on it from the beginning. He has such a great smile and there's an orneriness about him that I love.

Ashley reminds me of a friend I had growing up. This friend would go for guys that really weren't into her and it didn't matter if anyone told her something negative about the guy. She would believe the guy, always.

Agreed Ann. ... came from Bently, he told her to think of it that way, not as a "period".

As to her eyelashes, yes they looked fake, but I think she also wears mascara on her real lashes, you just have to buy a waterproof one. If you're a crier, then you buy and wear waterproof. covergirl Marathon has always served me well. LOL.

YEs, I think it's a bit cruel how the producers are letting this play out, but Ashley is a big girl, she's been warned by Michelle and by Chris and she still can't see it.

I just read Ashley's blog. I don't think it will link because of the commas. If you want to read it just google ashley blogs the bachelorette and click on the people.com ashley article for June 7.

I feel bad for her. I wish she wasn't embarrassed. I don't think she has anything to be embarrassed about at all. I'm sure if I was in the same situation, I would feel embarrassed too though.

Brenda (slight O/T - actually way O/T), I love the Marathon mascara, but over the last six months or so, I can't find it in the stores anymore. I loved how it was not only waterproof, but it was also smudge-proof and I wouldn't look like a raccoon at the end of the day.

Now, back to your reguarly-scheduled trainwreck.

Lexie -- you are correct. no more marathon in the green tube. Covergirl was a waterproof in the blue tube now and it seems to work the same. Hate it when they discontinute stuff I like! (and sorry, but I won't pay $8 for a tube of mascara!)

Back to Bachelorette -- did you guys see the commercial for Jimmy Kimmel -- he's having Ashley on tonight to talk about Bentley. At least she's being a good sport about it, it seems. Yes, I'd be a little embarrassed, but I think that's just part of being on the show.

I just re-watched Bentley's exit online.

It was Bentley who whispered to Ashley, "can I call you?"

Later, after the "straddling" part, he mumbles to her "you could come with me" to which Ashley says she can't and he says "yeah you can" (it's even subtitled there).

A few mins later Bentley says, "Even if I'm not coming back, I still want to keep the dot dot dot there. If you think about it logically it doesn't make sense, but don't think about it logically." Ashley, looking emotionally spent, simply whispers "dot dot dot."

So the dot dot dot was Bentley. And instead of just leaving, he sits there and spends time to get into her head so he can leave her with the possibility that the door is still open.

Hope that helps clarify.

Thanks Brenda - I will look for the CG mascara in the blue tube. I also hate it when I find a product I really, really like and then they discontinue it. That Marathon mascara was Da Bomb.

Now back to our regularly scheduled train-wreck.

Thanks everyone... I guess I didn't hear him (or chose to block him out) all I heard was her whispering "dot dot dot"... thanks to all your keen ears :-)
