Sonia talks to Dion and Jason about their power-play of switching two the pairs ... Choosing the strongest team, that will give them the best advantage.
She informs them that the Australian public will be giving their opinion on who they feel is the strongest pair.
For the audience, strengths and weaknesses are shown for the pairs.

In a recorded segment, we see Katie and Priya called into the diary room due to something Katie did.
Katie destroyed one of the pillows in the bed.
BB informs Katie that she will receive punishment for destroying the pillow. Since Priya is her partner, she will be punished also.
(Punished for bad behavior... We don't see this in the US BB)
Katie and Priya are told they must separate red and white confetti into separate containers, while inside the fishbowl.
At first it does not seem so hard, but as time goes on, the work becomes very tedious.
The time gives Katie and Priya opportunity to discuss who they would want to nominate. Normally in BBAU, housemates cannot talk about nominations, but since they are playing as pairs, they will be choosing together.

Jason and Dion indicate Australia's opinion is close in line with theirs.

In another recorded segment that was probably my favorite of the episode. Jake sings to Skye.
A giggly Skye then sings along with Jake.
Skye then brings the singing to Big Brother in the diary room.
A little embarrassed at the same time about her feelings.
She continues the singing outside the diary room.
Skye even gets a complement from Sonia on her singing.

The time finally came for the big moment in the show, when Dion and Jason must use their power play to switch pairs.
BB talks to the heads of house and the other housemates.
The nervous housemates wait for their answer.
(If memory serves me from when I actually watched this episode, I believe at this point BB tells them how much money they will win in the Pairs contest ... $30,000.)
Dion and Jason then make their switch.
They choose to make Travis and Cat a pair.
... And Sam and Ryan a pair.
BB informed the housemates that the change made by the heads of house is permanent.

Earlier David told Sandra not to clean so much because it made somebody get eliminated last year.
This later prompted more apologizing from David.
Sandra cried to other housemates and felt she could talk to them, but not to her partner. She asked David to give her some time alone.
