Hi everyone! If Jasper wants I can run this game again this year.
Here is a reminder on the rules (copied from Jasper's post from last season)
And we are back! Welcome to Season 51! They are calling it the Open Era! Woo hoo!
Sticking with our new format.....
Pick your Sole Survivor.
Beginning September 23 Episode 1:
Each episode pick the following:
1. Which tribe (individual when we get to that portion) wins Reward?
2. Which tribe (individual when we get to that portion) wins Immunity?
3. Who will be eliminated?
Rules and points:
Your Sole Survivor will get you 5 points each week. If you change your Sole Survivor for any reason other than medical evacuation (ie. change your mind or torch snuffed) you will reset to "0" Sole Survivor points.
With the exception of the following: Week 1 - if you change your Sole Survivor for Week 2 you can retain the points, and if your Sole Survivor leaves due to medical you can pick a new Sole Survivor and retain your Sole Survivor points.
The response to each question is worth 5 points for #1&2 and 10 points for #3.
*Bonus 5 points if you get all 3 correct
If you miss a week, that's okay, you miss out on points and your Sole Survivor will remain as it is if they remain in the game but you will not get the points for that week.
Sole Survivor points will be tallied up and carried to your Grand Total at the merge episode. I think to be fair with the new tribe dynamics even if your Sole Survivor gets ousted at the end of the merge ep your points from the end of the prior episode will be carried over.
You can then pick a new Sole Survivor at the next ep if you want regardless of whether they are still playing.
If you want to join late, the more the merrier!
We'll do a little twist for the final episode. Prior to that last episode we will do a points tally and then finale questions.

Pamy, I just googled and Survivor 51's premiere date is September 23, 2026 (2-hour special, 8 PM – 10 PM ET/PT).

Everyone needs to pick your sole survivor before this Wed ep. (9/23/26) We will start doing the regular picks after the 1st ep (after we know the teams and get a feel for the players)

UPDATE Last year we DID pick the boot, reward and Immunity winners. Jasper was kind enough to list the tribes and their members for us to pick.
I will go search and bring over the names/tribes so we can all do ALL of the picks for week 1.

Ok so officially CBS hasnt released the tribe breakdown. Chatg said it has been figured out by buffs worn in promos.
Sooooo do you all want to wait and start with the picks until week 2? or I can post what people think are the tribes?
