Coach is likely to drive Dee and Chrissy crazy unless he turns it down without a camera

I'm with you Jimmer... I found Coach to be great reality TV - but then again I'm not stuck with him out on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

Sea, being as Cirie has never won a challenge on her own and needs a team to drag her to a team win, I have absolutely no faith that she found that coconut out of 2,000 coconuts. Even if 50 of them had a phoenix on it, I still don't believe she would have found one on her own. I'd bet money that production helped her.

But the players didn't need her vote to oust Coach, right? If they did need her vote, then production definitely helped her. Otherwise, maybe not. They just put 200 coconuts with the phoenix on it, out there.

I think Dee will be ecstatic because Coach was single minded about his desire to get rid of Dee.

Agree Grooch, you are getting hotter, hoter, cold, cold......

if production had helped her, I think they would have told her she didn't have to turn over each coconut?

I don't think they did.

Cirie going back and influencing the vote saved Devins and Aubrey. If she hadn't Ozzy and Riz were going to vote them out.

I am pretty sure Devins days will be numbered now but that was such an awesome play!

They still think he has an immunity and telling them he has to use the tribal week might save him another tribal.

I agree that if production were helping Cerie, they would have told her she didn't need to turn the coconuts over, just look at them! It was face up.

What a fun, fun episode. So glad Coach is GONE! And yes, so foolish of Aubry to burn that idol last week when she wasn't in danger.

As Pamy said, Cirie not only would have lost her vote, but additionally she wouldn’t have been able to return until after Tribal Council and would not have influenced the vote.

I think Cirie's incentive was more about not wanting to be out on the island alone with no fire, water, food LOL

LOL... I think y'all are the only ones on the internet who think Cirie found it without production interference.

Lexie, I know it was 2,000, i just didn'texplain it well. If production put the phoenix on 200 of the 2,000 coconuts, she would have been able to find it after turning over 100, if my math thinking is right. That would be enough coconuts to poop her out and production could get enough footage.

Rob Cesternino and Stephen Fishback seemed to think there were multiple phoenixes and with them being on top she was able to find one. And bringing one back made her story of what happened convincing. Stephen said the coconut would go bad but if she could get the phoenix off it would make a nice souvenir.

Well, I would say that there are always conspiracy theories with this show. That seems to be the nature of the beast (internet) these days.

Unless there is proof, I tend to ignore the speculation and generally trust what I see on the screen, altho I know there is manipulation of what they show, I don't think they rig the challenges. They had no way of knowing Cirie would be chosen, and would have had to rig up extra coconuts before she got there.

The screen shots showed that she worked on that same area for a long time, with her in the background and the one marked coconut in the foreground. According to the order they showed them, she went the wrong way at first and then worked back (at least that's what I saw).

Again, I think if they really wanted her to find it, they would have told her she didn't need to turn them over. She could have just walked row after row and seen it.

That's where I stand... LOL.

I got the impression Cirie had turned over several 100 coconuts, maybe around 25% or 20% of the whole field of them, working from the side of the timer out. It certainly didn't look to me like she hadn't turned over many.

And to be realistic, Production probably would have put the coconut a reasonable number of coconuts from that side, as they do want someone who tries to be able to find it to actually succeed. Or there could be say four or five in the field to make it possible whichever end you started from.

I don't think it was fixed, although they were probably glad she did get back to the group before tribal.

I'm just popping in to say that I'm not a fan of the fan twists...but this one was maddening (I'm saying this without knowing who was voted out, as I got disgusted and turned it off before tribal). I'm still stewing lol.

Scoot, the fans voted for "more twists" - but we didn't vote on the actual twists themselves. These "twists" are all Jeff's and production's doing.

Kar, I don't know if anyone else was sent to Exile Island if they would have received the "assistance" that Cirie received

I actually think they would have. It is a better story to have someone triumph at the end :-)

Yes, they do want them to succeed! I don't think they alter anything to favor anyone, but they do gear them to allow success for sure.

Pamy, the only difference is everyone else is capable of actually winning an individual immunity and in the last 20 years Cirie has proven she can't. Probably 75% of them win whatever the challenge is on the journey. I cannot wrap my brain around her finding that coconut on her own.

Lexie, I do agree that she is awful at every challenge and it is farfetched that she found this but I want to believe they didnt make it that easy for her.

I just rewatched and she did TURN OVER the coconut to see the Phoenix. I dont know why they kept showing us the coconut with the Phoenix appearing to show without being turned over

Pamy, I thought the Phoenix was facing the camera, not face down? So since she came up behind it, she would have to turn it over partially only?
