totally agree about the Zach Brown thing going on WAY TOO LONG! And he didn't even sing the song he's probably most known for. I have never heard the ones he did sing (and I go country dancing). UGH. What a bore!
And Emily -- she just can't help herself. I'm so, so bummed Mike White is gone. He gave good narration. Emily didn't tell Ozzy they were voting for Mike. Ozzy was as blindsided as Mike. But she told him Mike was coming for her! And if Christian wasn't there, I think she probably would have spilled it all! Ozzy just is kind of clueless and didn't pick up on what was implied.
Oh, and Jeff, that was NOT the best reward ever! I hope the fan backlash makes it's way to him.

Yeah, because he is an accomplished spear fisher, and wanted to show off his skills. He had a much better spear than they give the contestants!

I have more respect for Ozzy's hunting with his baby spear and bare feet.

My first thought in this episode is that I hate the boat challenge where they have to push it up on the beach. It’s brutal to watch so I can’t imagine having to do it.
Since Dee first got on the show by calling Jeff P directly, I’m going out on a limb and guessing she came up with the idea of Zac Brown being on the show. While at first I thought it was kind of cool that he was on, it quickly became tiresome especially with Dee crying like a 13 year old girl who had her Taylor Swift ticket taken away from her. You can’t force people to like Dee, Jeff.
I was rooting for Emily to be gone but am more than okay with Mike being voted out. This tribe will be back at tribal next week. Hopefully we get more of ALL the competitors next week and not just the ones who don’t understand that without strength before the merge, they won’t even make the merge.
And the Aubrey/Genevieve saga, aye!

Here's an idea that popped into my head reading this. What IF by "The Fans Decide", they didn't mean all of US will decide, but only the celebrity fans will decide? That makes a whole lot more sense. And agreed, very few true fans want them to see them starve and have no tools, and spend their time trying to forget about their hunger.

Comments (and not being on X, I could only read what was listed, but what I could read also says that fans did not vote about celebrities being involved. Billie, Zac, MrBeast, Jimmy Fallon..

Ugh about MrBeast and Fallon. Fallon is such an attention hog and doesn't know when to stop. On the show On Brand that he co hosted with Boz, he was hogging up so much time, that Boz got sick of it and quite sternly told him to knock it off and go away. She meant it! So, I worry how much time he will get.
Hopefully, after reading that article (thanks, Sea) the producers will re-edit these shows and cut their time down.
But, probably not.

It must be a hard balance to draw, between fans that are bored and trying to entice them back in, and fans that are die hard loyalists that don't ever want anything to change. 
There must be something different about me that I, for the most part, enjoy novelty, rather than the same old thing. I'm not a big fan of the long boring, back and forth convos of plotting and scheming. Give me a reward or immunity challenge any day.
I personally wish we'd see more of how they are struggling to live - how they build their shelters, how they get food (if any). Without their flint and with Christian at a new camp without three sets of glasses, how did he start a fire to cook all those fish Ozzy caught? And how come we didn't see him catch those fish?
Everyone has their favorite and least favorite parts. I'm sure the producers thought having some big names on the show would help ratings, but I don't recall any promos promoting Zac? Maybe that was the part that got screwed up in terms of ratings.

Kar, that was my irritation with it. It wasted so much time that we only got 1 challenge. He also added nothing to the game.
At least when Beast comes he is going to bring something that will affect the game-drastically

Well, it seems the participants on Fiji seem to really like the ‘star’ stuff. I mean, most of them seem to be trying to break into Hollywood anyway. Plus, I can imagine it would break the monotony of daily life too.

Of course.. Fine for them to have reward, even a celeb but we didn't need to see and hear so much.
I know nothing about Mr Beast but, as always I start watching an hour in to FF the commercials and will be able to FF at will.

I always watch Beast Games on Amazon Prime, so familiar with Mr. Beast. He's made quite a living for himself conducting these competitive games and offering them independently. The prize money is always very very high as well.
Last season of Beast Games, Jeff appeared and helped run a Survivor-like challenge for the Beast Games contestants, so I imagine this is a kind of 'returning the favor' thing.
