On tonight. The title of tonight's episode is "Lovable Losers". Hopefully, that doesn't mean the same tribe loses yet again, though I don't like them all that much anyway.

I read that JP said the eps leading toward merge are not as exciting as after merge. LOL he never talks bad about the show. Hopefully this will tell them to give everyone supplies so one team doesnt keep losing over and over

Wow now I feel guilty for my earlier comment. That tribe has been through the wringer. Simply brutal. I'm surprised that they went through that challenge without some kind of change up.

I thought Jake would go far in the game. It was sad to have him leave.

I was sad. Also annoyed, as I thought in the past when they medically evacuated someone they counted that as the eviction. This was brutal.

I was wondering about that too. At least, Sophia and Alex will get to really play the game again when they drop their buffs. It seems like, in past seasons, those who were on a decimated team seemed to go far in the game after the merge or teams were shuffled. I think because they have had to do more strategizing and the other teams have been waiting to get their targets out. I liked that Sophia said to Alex that they were together now.

Why didn't they skip the tribal because Jake went home? I fell asleep at that part.

This is exactly why I HATE having three tribes of six. Every season one tribe gets decimated. Hopefully for S50 they will go with two tribes. I'm "assuming" Jake is one of the two players from S49 to appear on S50 since it was absolutely brutal the way he went out.

LOL thanks Pamy. I agree that with the three smaller tribes it means that the first tribe that loses becomes very vulnerable. It’s not fun to watch people struggle like that.

Seamonkey - - I totally agree. I remember someone being evacuated so there was no one voted out that week. In this case, it was even the same tribe where the person was evacuated and then had to go to tribal. I was actually waiting for Sophi to say something to Jeff along the lines of "Hey, we already lost one of ours to medical reasons, that should count!"

It's shit like this that makes me hate Jeff Probst as an executive producer.

I think the shorter seasons make them less flexible maybe. If they let him play next season and he got home for his child's birth, it might be ok.. sort of. Maybe he can be on a winning team.
