Is it just me, or is anyone else having a hard time keeping their eyes off of Jake’s left nipple trying to figure out what exactly is going on there???

...... Spoiler below . . . Nicole did. Funny thing for me, I thought she was Izzy from Big Brother until I saw her name on the screen. I was excited to watch her to see how she would do. Oh, well.

Thanks Grooch... I don't watch BB so I'm not going to enjoy TAR which premieres tonight. On the flip side, all these contestants are new to me since they aren't recycled from any reality shows that I do watch - so there's that.

I think they made a mistake and should have evicted Annie. She sucks at challenges AND is super bossy, that will wear on them

I agree, Pamy. And I'm so mad she didn't use her shot in the dark.

Fun start to a new season. I enjoyed it a lot. I was okay with either of the two weak women going home, but agree that Annie seems hard to work with. She just didn't seem to try to reach her string out in front of her on the challenge like we saw the other team do.

I kind of get the feeling that Jeremiah, Sophie and Annie may form alliance and get out the 2 guys. It would be dumb but I think with Annie bossy ways it may happen

Interesting cast. So many to predict to come out at number 1. I think the teams are well split.

Great first episode! With the exception of Annie, I'm looking forward to enjoying most of these players!

Yes that was fun. Rizo's come from behind win was especially entertaining. The Kele tribe may have some problems making a comeback. I'm not sure that Nicole was the best choice to vote out over Annie but we'll see. Interesting (and refreshing) that no one has found a hidden immunity idol yet, or hardly even was shown looking for one, when they've played such a significant role in recent Survivor seasons.

Izzy from Big Brother is on Amazing Race! And she is now married! And they did well tonight. I was wondering last night how well the two substantially built young women would fare on Survivor, as that is a body type that has only been introduced on Survivor in the past few seasons. One of them Nicole, blue team, got voted out last night, and the other Kristina, yellow team, practically led her team in the VERY arduous challenge.

Survivor allowing Rizo to blatantly cheat in a comp, get away with it and brag about it left a bad taste in my mouth. Heck, even MTV’s The Challenge, where basically “anything goes except physical Violence”, didn’t allow the cheaters to get away with it in their latest episode.

yeah and they punished everyone for it, which was totally unfair!

It’s not cheating if it’s not against the rules. Production probably didn’t even think it was possible that the person in the lead could spend so much time trying to find that thing that the other contestant would have time to look at the other puzzle, slowly put their puzzle together and eventually catch up. It was absurdly ridiculous.

I was trying to figure out what the "cheating" was, as I did watch the show last night and sort of didn't even remember who was who. I sort of gave that braggadocios kid kudos if he was clever enough to do that, AND it was NOT explicitly in the rules. And, of course, it was "good tv".

The other guy could have taken the puzzle apart so the "cheater" couldn't copy it.

True and if it wasnt allowed the producers would have stopped him. It is just like looking in people's bags. It is allowed but leaves bad taste in my mouth

Except Jbw, they handled it very poorly on The Challenge. Everyone was punished by not being awarded any points - even those that did not cheat. AFAIK, it's not against the rules to look at another player's puzzle - so it's not cheating. It's ballsy.... but not cheating

The funny thing about it was the only reason it was even possible was Alex took so incredibly long to find the wheel in the sand. He’d probably still be there looking for it. I think Rizzo deserves credit for thinking outside of the box and not giving up and finding a way to get it done.

It seemed like he did not dig deep enough Rizzo said he was going to give up when his elbow hit something hard and he dug deeper.
