I fell asleep as soon as they walked into TC. Who went home?

Jem went. She was blindsided with an idol in her pocket.

Thanks Strat... sounds like it was a great TC. I love a good blindside

Once again, I have no idea why the person was evicted. Once again, I am reminded why I don’t usually watch Survivor week by week. I am absolutely enjoying binge-watching old Survivor seasons, though. Currently watching Cagayan. I cannot explain this.

Did Jem really have an alliance with anyone to protect her? They all seemed to get along with each other but several had their little side alliances.

I think they all were unnerved by strongly suspecting she'd set up the fake idol hunt thing (with the "dig" instruction when she'd already taken it), and that she wouldn't admit it. It would create a lot of mistrust. And then with no one particularly wanting Dom to go, even those who targeted him, plus the boys wanting to save him, Jem would be a good alternative.

2nd idol that went home with someone. I like the brochacho alliance with their plus one. That could really work. We shall see if they stick to it or stick to tribe lines

Rosem, Jem was really being horribly pushy with all of her tribemates, insisting that they tell her who was on the chopping block, instead of creating alliances. She clearly wasn't liked or trusted very much.

It sounds like Jem talked herself into getting booted.

yes, Jem was too pushy with everyone. I also think leaving the "beware advantage" for others to find backfired on her. I feel like her having found it an not telling anyone, while this is a strategy that we all support, did not work for her in This close knit tribe. She tried blaming Tim, but I think others were likely close enough to Tim to not suspect him.

Huh, I liked her. And I don't trust their edits, so don't buy it. Should have used the idol after all that work to get it. I could have done without even MORE Bhanu coverage. He is gone, production, get over it. I was hoping the one who went to tribal council of the three guys who went on the trip and made a final three alliance would be the one to go. It was nice to see the remaining tribe without Bhanu finally get immunity and eat.

Yea, I saw how Jem was acting, but the SHOW didn’t even hint that anyone was talking about voting her out. They obviously DID, but my complaint is that production is more interested in contrived shock value than giving us a true edit. It’s at the point where as soon as one of them say “x” has got to go tonight, I know that “x” isn’t going anywhere.

I would have enjoyed the blindside more if I had an inkling that it was coming. There would have been excitement and anticipation of seeing her shocked face, especially since she had an idol.

She is bitter. I just read her entertainment weekly interview.

I saw it coming, unless she used the the idol.. Bitter isn't a good look, though.

LOL, I guess you professional Survivor watchers are able to detect the secret production language of eviction much better than me!

I detected it and would have been surprised if she had stayed. She presented as a me-first personality who didn't have true empathy with her tribemates, and they surely would have picked up on that. I was really afraid she was going to use her idol and was trying to figure out who would go home instead when she played it.

Well there was one vote for Ben, so it would have been him.

LOL, Rosem... yes, there was definitely a foreshadowing there with all the scenes of her pushing people to tell her who they were voting out, and not a one replied! Sea, there were 2 votes for Ben, Jem and Moriah. Moriah clearly knows now that she is not in the "alliance."
