Thanks to Survivor Blows (One of my very favorite places to go), we have a list of the supposedly 20 past winners who are currently in Fiji, battling it out.

I think it's most interesting here to find out why the original Winner of Season One is not on the list. It was rumoured that he wasn't asked, but this article spells it out differently.

Here's a link from July where Jeff Prost tells about the 3 twists for Season 40 β¦ basically all previous winners, increase in the prize to 2 million dollars $$$$$, and Extinction Island is coming back.

I also read somewhere else that they were all going to be given cash at the beginning. That they could buy certain things or favors, and when they left they had to will the $$$ left to somebody. I'm going to go looking for that article.

Well, since Rob is going to be in this one I agree, it is spoiled. I won't be watching it with him included. I was hoping after Survivor handed him his win we would be rid of him forever. Sadly both Rob and the measles have made a return.

Aw, c'mon, Lance. Consider it a study in gerontology and how we might fare as we age. Sure, we already had that 57 year old winner of Survivor, but maybe Rob could be a close second.

so Rob and Sandra are on this upcoming Survivor that starts in a few weeks AND next survivor against all returning??... ugh. Thats too much Rob and Sandra for me.. but I'm sure I'll be faithfully watching..;)
will be interesting to see both Amber and Rob compete together... and I could never tire of seeing Yul

Juju, don't know about everyone else---I do know as I've gotten older my weight has increased geometrically. I have figured out working kept me away from food more than I realized.

Filming began one week after the Survivor: Edge of Extinction finale, on May 22, 2019, and concluded at the end of June.
