Wow just saw that a French Survivor contestant died! How awful and he was very young.

I truly dislike Phillip. He sort of creeps me out. But after last week, I can't help thinking that if he makes it to the end, he might just deserve to win. It doesn't make me happy, but I think it's true.

In any of these reality television shows, I always think that the person who wins is the one who deserved to win and is the one who played the best game, because, well, because they won. Duh!

The doctor on France’s version of Survivor, Koh-Lanta, has committed suicide, blaming the media for its coverage of a contestant’s death just over a week earlier.

This isn`t the first death of a Survivor contestant. In 2009, in Bulgaria`s version of Survivor, a contestant also had a heart attack and died during a challenge.

Ugh,I just saw Dawn and Cochran in the Jeff Probst Show audience. I hope that doesn't mean those two go all the way-or even final 4. I don't like either of them.

Lakecat, I wouldn't put too much into that. The gal from 'Facts of Life' was on Probst's show in the middle of last season, and she didn't win.

Yeah, Brenda, I believe she was in F4.
She did win Fan Favorite (!) but I think that's decided at the end, isn't it?
I just don't think that Survivor contestants appearing on Jeff Probst's show means they won the game.

I see in the External Links thread that Michael has arrived at Ponderosa. Isn't Ponderosa just for jury members? I don't recall hearing Jeff say Michael was the first jury member. Isn't the jury usually 7 members? (With Michael gone, there are now 10 left, enough for a 7 member jury and a F3.)

Thanks Roxip. That is interesting. I wonder if there will be a 9 person jury and a F2 then. I like F2 better than F3.
I am reading Corinne's interviews (links in the other thread). There's going to be trouble I think. She talks about how Phillip is just not very intelligent. I don't think he's going to react very well to that.
