What is AJU? I thought it was a sauce. But a dip for a dip doesn't make any sense.

AJU is the dip for the french dip sandwich, which turns out to actually be a sliced roast beef w/sauted onions and peppers on a bun. Then you dip the whole thing in the Ajus, it was very good!!

au jus = with juice - so maybe nowadays abbreviated to AJU? Huh! We just had a French Dip sandwich in a wildly popular Seattle airport-area restaurant night before last, and it was wonderful.
