Kind of odd today. This morning I thought it was spring, then it went to gloomy and gray and now the sun is trying to break thru again, LOL.
It feels a bit chilly but temps are going to 65 with a good breeze.

We had frost on the grass and roofs, even though it was supposedly 38 when I first looked outside. Sunny most of the day, and temp went up to 57. Fruit trees are flowering all over town.

I still have a foot of snow that is solid ice on the ground. It's snowed 2 or 3 more times since the blizzard. It's 13° this morning, and some more snow expected later this morning.
The papers are reporting that the 100s of Canadian geese that died/are dying is from the bird flu. My bil talked to somebody who works for NYS conservation, and he said no. They are dying from starvation because the water is all frozen so they can't get food there, and the farm feels are covered with iced snow, so they can't get food from there either.
I am more than done with winter.

Back to beautiful, I think the forecast is ping-ponging between spring and winter. Today we have clear blue skies, a nice breeze and temps going to 71.

Where I am - coldish, gray, probably raining.
It was supposedly 55 degrees F when I walked outside about 1/4 mile to our clubhouse to attend water aerobics this morning, but the wind was blowing, so it felt colder.
10 day forecast is for coldish, gray, and probably raining.

We are back to gloomy, some menacing looking gray/black clouds, a strong breeze and temps going to 67.
So sorry Grooch, I can't believe how much snow you have gotten.

Per scanner the high school in Three Rivers took a direct hit with several collapsed or destroyed buildings around the area.

We might get snow again Monday. It is not uncommon to get a small snowfall here in March, even if there has been no snow all winter. It likely won't stick even if it happens.

A swarm of earthquakes hit northwest Louisiana early Monday morning. There have been 5 earthquakes reported in the past 12 hours. The strongest was a 4.0.
This is pretty rare for this region of the United States.
