Oh wait, is lake Balboa in Balboa Park in San Diego, where the famous San Diego Zoo is? It sure sounds like I should know where Lake Balboa is, as we have been to Balboa Park numerous times when catching cruises in or out of San Diego.

It was on news out of Los Angeles and Lake Balboa Park is in LA, per the internet
Here in Orange County we have Balboa Peninsula, Balboa Island.
We had rain all night and much of today.

Cloudy, gray and dry ... until around 7pm, then a new storm rolls in for overnight rain thru Monday night. We have no breeze and temps going up to 62.

Still warm and humid here in San Antonio. Actually had to turn the AC back on as we both roasted a couple of nights ago. It is forecast to be in the mid 80F degrees through this coming Thursday. After that we might actually get more typical fall weather in the 60F to 70F range. Winter here usually really hits in late December and last about 6 to 8 weeks. This is fine by us as neither of us likes cold weather. This is no place for snow lovers which we are not. 🙂

Here in northern Maine it's in the low 30s and we have our first snow of the season. About 3" have fallen so far and it's coming down more steadily and with bigger flakes now. The prediction is for 7" total with a possible coating of ice over it. The ice is always the worst part.

Cloudy and Gray, it rained pretty good in the early morning, now we may not get much more than a few showers here and there. Most rain looks like it will be more north. Temps will be going to 57.
