That was a foreshock in Venezuela.. Dr Lucy Jones says there could be between 10,000 and 100,000 casualties!

The Venezuela earthquake looked awful.
We are suffering with the heat here in the UK. String of days above 85F with tomorrow expected to be 99F. Same across most of Europe, and France is even hotter.
And of course we don't have air conditioning, as the UK is traditionally cool, so inside my room right now is 83F and 72% humidity. I've just put the dehumidifier on, which is decreasing the humidity, and so feels better, but increasing the temperature a bit, but the combination is worth it. Got to wait probably another three hours before the outside air will be cooler and I can open the window.

It's a bit chilly this morning but the weather channel has assured me it is going to warm up later, LOL.

Devastating Venezuela earthquake update:
920 confirmed dead, 51,000 it more still missing. The death toll expected to substantially rise.
United States, El Salvador and numerous other countries have rescue teams on the ground.
In the United States — in southern Florida — some Venezuelan communities have been lining up for hours to donate supplies.

The death toll in Venezuela rose to 1,430, Jorge Rodriguez, the leader of Venezuela’s National Assembly, said on state TV. Rodriguez said that 3,238 people were injured and more than 400 aftershocks have been recorded.
