I had an appointment before lockdown but my hair stylist, who cut my short hair and was a wonder with weaving in bleach with foils called to cancel because her husband had a "very bad cold". She had started doing hair at home.
Then Los Angeles County was very early to shut down businesses including hers and all salons. She lives in L.A. counth. I live in Orange County.
And before anything opened up, she injured her right wrist and had to retire.
So I grew out my bangs and my hair got pretty long.
I went from January 13, 2020 until July 17 2021. with no cut.
Then I went to a local salon that said Alyssa would mask, but she didn't and had my hair trimmed and got my bangs back.
And I have trimmed and cut it myself ever since.
Totally natural color
Saved money and driving.

LOL, I did cut my hair, but I have been known to do that when it's not a pandemic. If it seems to long and is annoying me I just get out the scissors.

I didn't get my hair cut for 15-16 months. By the time I had it cut it was past my shoulder blades. My hair was medium brown with gray silver tiny streaks and it looked so dull. About 2 weeks later, I had it colored.

I always cut my own. Mom was a beautician and owned her own shops, so when I moved away from her and she couldn't cut it anymore, I felt I had seen enough to be able to do it myself. I think I do a good job

I always cut my own bangs, but my husband tried a hand at doing my hair. It was shoulder length at the start of covid and half way down my back before I forced him to do it, so it wasn't too complicated. He did pretty well.
I always cut his with the shearers, so no change there.

Please don't come steal my cast iron dutch oven from the top of my fridge. You probably wouldn't want the decorated wine bottle (empty) from my high school reunion or the last phone book I ever received, lol.
I did trim my own hair during the pandemic. I often trimmed it before then and have since also.

I cut my own hair for several years when my daughter was a baby. Just didn't have time to go! I cut my own bangs every 2-3 weeks. I often do some "clean up" after getting a hair cut. The secret really is that you need to get hair cutting scissors (Sally's Beauty). Don't use the old pair in your craft drawer. Get a nice pair from a beauty supply shop.

I had grown mine out the year before so I only had to cut my own bangs. Hubs cut his own as he's got the bald on top, ring of hair around the ears thing going - and he keeps that super short. Bought himself some clippers and away he went.
