RN I ended up being too tired to do the mask. I'll post what happens when I finally get to it.

RN looks like window replacement will be on hold today. Raining pretty steady right now and supposed to get worse as the day goes on. The lead guy said they might install the exterior door from our bedroom to the patio as that is all under cover and out of the rain. They usually show up at 8:30 AM and it’s 9 AM right now and nobody here. Oh well…….

RN window replacement stopped again for today. They came early and started the set up. About an hour later it started to pour and the lead called them off. I had been looking at future radar and kind of wondered what he was thinking. Personally using electric power tools in the rain isn’t my first choice. They don’t work on the weekends so maybe Monday.

RN I think this is my hardest day of dog sitting so far. Mainly because I have a 16 y/o Sealyham Terrier that is deaf and partially blind, and I have another dog that has to stay on a line when we go out because she can jump privacy fences. Which make things worse for 2 reasons. I can't use the doggy door for any of the dogs, and I have to go outside with her every time to hook her up. And the senior dog needs 6 medications. 2 topicals, 2 different eye drops, and 2 kinds of pills. Plus I have to make sure she is always safe. It's 24/7 vigilance on her. Total 7 dogs in the house including mine. AND it's supposed to storm starting tonight into tomorrow.

God bless you, Naja. I couldn't do it if I tried. How long do you have the Sealyham terrier and the dog that jumps fences?

RN Luckily, the fence jumper goes home at 5. I had her for daycare 8am-5pm all week. I'm considering asking her dad to find another sitter. The senior Sealyham is here until Nov 6. Her mom is on her honeymoon and she's 70! Her new husband is so nice and funny.

RN I put on my big girl pants and texted Marny's dad that I can't watch his dog 5 days a week. I said next week I will, but after that, the limit is 3 days, with preferably Wed and Thurs being 2 of the days. He'll be here in about 5 mins.

That is the fence jumper? I hope he is paying more, or tipping more.

RN He doesn't tip or leave reviews. He's the one that's CEO and director at the Mid-Continent Public Library. He oversees 33 libraries! I don't think he thinks about anything outside his job.

Wow, well at least his dog isn't sitting in a cage, but kind of sad he even has a dog.

RN the third delivery attempt of the new refrigerator is supposedly scheduled for 11AM-1PM. Fingers crossed third time is a charm. We’ve once again got everything emptied, moved, etc. We’ve become real pros. 😬

That's good! When my washer, dryer and refrigerator were delivered last year, I was still moved out and so my food was still elsewhere. The big deal was would everything fit and I bought a refrigerator that didn't have handles on the doors and even then it was up in the air if they might have to remove the doors to get it into the kitchen. And luckily the stove was still out in the garage, and that space gave them room to maneuver. And no dents. I am sure that made you a bit crazy! I guess third time is a charm.

RN we’re just letting the refrigerator come up to temperature. Luckily it was in the low 70’s today, they came relatively early, and it felt cool to the touch. Since it was up and running by 1PM we figure we can start restocking it around 5-6PM. Carey packed what had been in the old refrigerator in two coolers with ice packs so that stuff will be plenty cold. We probably won’t put anything in the freezer compartment until tomorrow.
