Naja, what made you ask that?

No.

My cat doesn't like other cats.

Plus she is my last pet. If I outlive her (she is just 15) and if I am still able, I will foster cats for a rescue as long as I can do that.

How is Gunner doing? I hope they are getting along. Gunner is adorable, I always had Labradors. Lucky for me I get to see a black lab a couple of times a month. Jersey is a guide dog for John, who is a fantastic guitarist and sings and writes songs. Jersey is very laid back but perks up at snack time.

RN Pretty much all the tiny dogs including Gunner are getting along fine except that Cappy likes to let out a little growl or snap if another dog comes up to her too fast. But it was only the first day of their week. She'll get used to everyone. She and her brother want to sleep on top of me changing positions all night so I didn't get much sleep.

I asked if you're interested in another cat because out of nowhere my brother is getting really sick from cats and we are trying to rehome his orange female cat named Chicken. He's had her since she was a tiny baby and she's always been an indoor cat. I had posted a picture about 5 years back of a baby pool filled with tiny orange kittens when they got her so she's still pretty young.

My mom took their other cat Willow some time back because Chicken liked to pick on her. So it's just as well you don't want another when you already have one. You'd probably end up with Jackson on "My Cat from Hell". hahaha

Adorable.. But I have aged out of fresh cats.

There is a cat food available that is actually working for some people with allergies.

Purina Pro Plan Live Clear. But maybe they have tried it.

A friend from years ago was allergic and had 3 cats but she would send them for baths and apparently that helped.

I went through the hell back when I adopted Angelina and my black cat Critter just loathed her. Angelina was bigger, younger, big claws, while normally sweet Critter was declawed, but Critter ruled.

Angelina ended up with cancer, and Critter lived to be almost 23.

Katniss isn't fond of other cats either.

Chicken is gorgeous!

RN Dolly, Patsy and I have 2 days off! I'm not kidding when I tell you that after the last dog went home yesterday, Patsy and Dolly did the dog equivalent of a little jig! haha

RN having morning coffee in Augusta, Georgia on our friend’s screened in back patio porch. Forgot to tell you all we were going over to visit our friend in Augusta and see her new house for the first time. She lost her husband two years ago and sold their lake house and built in Augusta which is more or less her hometown and where her son and family live. Brand new home and she built it with just about every bell and whistle. Been a great visit and going home tomorrow.

How's the weather there in Georgia compared to where you live?

RN We bought a new washer and dryer from Costco. They came and installed it this past Tuesday. I went to use it yesterday for the first time and it doesn't work. I keep getting the locked error code. The machine locks itself when it tries to do the spin cycle.

I've spent my afternoon yesterday and my whole morning this morning trying to do all the things im supposed to do to try to fix it. And the time it takes to get through a real person on the phone to schedule an appointment.

The appointment is 1 week from today and I have no clean clothes! And a pile of sopping wet towels sitting in a sink!

The temperatures have been very close here in Georgia compared to home. Maybe only a degree or two lower. The humidity is a bit higher here and our friend’s house is about a block from the Savanah River. It doesn’t help that her back patio and pool get afternoon sun and we’ve had to go inside many days. We go back home today.

Juju, Thank god for Costco!

I tried first calling the LG number. I was forced to try the Ai live chat thingie. It was impossible and infuriating. Am I suppose to talk? Or type? Or what? Then it kept opening up new links for me to open up when I wasn't done with current link. Didn't get anywhere.

So, I hung up and called Costco. I dealt with 2 real human beings who spoke perfect English. I got my appointment in minutes after explaining my problem.

Costco is the best. :-)

RN started on our projects this morning. First up was unpacking the Amazon purchases. Not exactly a tradition but every time we visit our Georgia friends, now friend as the husband passed, or they visit here we come up with new ideas for everything from snacks to small appliances to drawer organizers to you name it. That ‘s been going on for 12 years through several visits here or there. 🙂

We have very similar taste in a broad range. We’re collectively not surprised when one of comes across something the other would like. Our Georgia friend just moved into her new house she had custom built from dirt up. She had the better part of two years to research and find new and different things for her house. Understandably she wanted to start fresh and very little from her old house came forward to the new.
