RN Thanks everyone! This weekend is crazy already. I have 3 Golden retrievers (2 brothers are actually white), black mouth Cur mix, Jack Russell mix, my 2 girls, and 2 arriving later today. A GSD and an Aussie cattle dog.

Thank goodness they all go home Sunday. With any luck, I won't have any last minute bookings and my girls and I can have 2 days off! :-)

RN Here is some security cam footage of a forced pottie break about 30 mins ago. They didn't really want to go out because it's so hot.

When I had dogs, we were showing and breeding some, so all intact and more hormones. Letting 5 girls out they often lined up to end up peeing in the same spot to get their scent on top. It was actually pretty amusing to watch.

I noticed at least one place where one of your dogs in the video did this.

They are sure a happy, attractive bunch.

Since you say it was forced in the heat, some of them just still couldn't resist romping a bit.

RN Oh I see that all the time, Sea! It's pretty funny.

Tues afternoon I have a meet and greet with a 15 yo border collie mix with dementia. Luckily the single night they need her to stay here I don't and won't have any other dogs here. Wednesday night.

RN Tomorrow I am sitting for a 15 yo border collie mix that is 100% deaf. She is the sweetest pup ever. She's only staying one night.

Naja, I wonder how they determine or define dementia in a dog or cat..

Do they use sign and touch to work around the deafness?

Sounds like this will be an enjoyable challenge, given your great love of dogs, and challenges.

RN Honestly, she seemed pretty normal. She sniffed all over my house and yard, found the water bowls, had a kissing session with both of my dogs. She's pretty independent. She doesn't like her neck touched so she wears a small harness all the time and that's what you touch to get her attention.

My la st Labrador, Kizzy, was deaf in her later years. Actually that was a blessing during crazy fireworks, because she didn't hear them.

RN on Sunday, before my 2 days off, the owners wife bought some Entimine (sp) doughnuts for everyone. They were kept in the fridge so the chocolate wouldn't melt.

So, I'm back at work today, and the box is still there. So about 10 minutes ago, I went to get a doughnut.

The box was empty! Who puts an empty food container back in the fridge? I have my suspicions.

So, I just went and cleaned out the fridge. Threw out everything that was in there except for bottles of water. There was an almost empty bag of mini cany bars. I ate the rest of them so I could throw the bag away.

And I really don't care what anybody has to say about it.

RN Entenmann donuts are the best! The disappointment I would feel expecting a donut and getting an empty box would sure set me off! I sure hope the candy bars were able to make up for it 😁

RN Was Ainsley the name of that AI girl in Big Brother last season? The one the HGs voted "No" to letting her be an HG? I only ask because the 15 yo pup with Dementia I am watching is named Ainsley.

BTW, this dog is amazing. I just love her. On her own she even learned how to use the doggie door, and she comes and goes as she pleases. I didn't teach her. She just saw the other dogs doing it and she did it, too. I'm kinda sad she's going home home tonight.

RN I just had a customer who needed info and help picking out a pot to replant a plant that was Jimmy Buffets and his wife gave to her. Ends up its a banana plant and she promised me one of its pups when she reports it.
