Grooch, you actually ARE a total nut, but a lovable nut with a good heart, so keep on charming those neighbors and wearing your ice cleats.

It's lovely out, we have sunshine and mostly clear skies, temps are going to 60.

They way rain, or more likely for me - mist, tonight. Mostly the rain is predicted for Marin county.

Just great if you like 12 inches of snow and a single digit Fahrenheit temperature.

Sort of Sun ... it was sunny and it is bright but I see a bunch of white clouds have moved in. We had some rain last night but none hit my house.

Temps going to 62.

54, feels crisp rather than cold, temps going up to 64. Bright blue skies with not a cloud in sight. No breeze but ...

the pear trees bloomed overnight, full of white blues that will make it snow if a wind comes up!!

Tens of thousands of people from Mississippi are STILL without power 8 days after a catastrophic ice storm.
Humphreys, Leflore, Tallahatchee, Yalobusha, Panola, Lafayette, Benton and Tippah Counties in the state are between 40 and 70% in the dark, per Matthew Cappucci.
Many people have been in their homes for a week without warm food, water or electricity. Please continue to check up on neighbors and loved ones, if you know someone there.

The spotlight returned to Gobbler's Knob in western Pennsylvania, when handlers of a groundhog named Punxsutawney Phil said he predicted six more weeks of winter — not an early spring — after he saw his shadow.

Coldish, gray, probably raining. We are back in the Pacific Northwest, often abbreviated as PNW.

Coldish, gray, probably raining, but I don't think it actually did rain. And we could look in the sky and see where the sun most likely was.

My car said it was 90 under the hood after I came out of the senior center yesterday.. And it did get that high or in the 80s. A lot if us ,dressed for the anticipated ramping up of air conditioning inside and we needed those long sleeves.

We have had February heat waves before, but will undoubtedly get more winter before summer.

Looks like maybe our false spring is a coming here in San Antonio. High 60s today but forecast is for low 80s starting tomorrow and possibly through the weekend. Settles to the low to mid 70s which is pretty much what passes for spring here until it hits the 90s and above.

Chilly this morning, 48 with temps going up to 69. Kind of cloudy looking but it might be fog. Skies are bright but no blue yet and no breeze.

I always loved the false spring in San Antonio if I happened to be over there working when it happened. Those mountain laurel trees with their deep blue purple flowers are just gorgeous.
