severeweatherus 23m Extreme rainfall possible for Southern California for this week. Los Angeles is forecast to see over 7". I wouldn't be surprised to see this upgraded to a High Risk. Widespread, severe flooding possible, including areas that usually don’t experience floods. The Eaton Fire burn scar may see 12 to 16" which may trigger life threatening to perhaps catastrophic flooding & severe debris flows. Burn scars are a concern. Start taking precautions now!

Yes, We are looking at rain in Orange County. I follow a couple in San Francisco and their 7 cats and 2 dogs. They have power but say much of San Francisco is without power.

It really rained last night, I didn't hear it but it covered my balcony. Currently 58 going up to 59, LOL. The skies are clearing a bit with some sunshine breaking thru. There are still a few grayish clouds, but I think our rain is over til the storm renews tonight.

Nice here today, Mack. The skies are sort of marbled white clouds, gray clouds, sunshine and blue skies. Apparently we are getting a break in the rain until tonight. Already 59 going up to 62. No breeze now but gusty winds expected tonight.

Not sure exactly what’s going on with our weather. The forecast a day ago was for record heat starting tomorrow and running through the weekend. In fact, the forecast for Christmas Day was 85F. Today the forecast for Christmas is 76F which is still pretty nice but not a record. It’s 74 on our patio but it’s only 1:38 PM here so should warm up a bit more by about 3:30 PM.

Bracing for high winds tomorrow afternoon in Northern Oregon. They are concerned about already weakened trees from the last windstorm. The wind direction is coming from another direction, which may cause issues.

severeweatherus 39m An arc of supercell storms may landfall in California tonight with possible tornadoes. The severe weather setup that California may see will see tonight is something you only see once a decade or less in California. From NWSBayArea discussion : “In fact, our next shift just walked in and one of the meteorologists said it feels like Kansas in May out there." The dangerous line of severe storms, with the highest tornado threat after midnight between San Francisco & Los Angeles.

abc7la 2h AIR7 captured the runoff from the storm that has reached the ocean in Malibu. Health experts remind everyone it's generally a good idea to stay away from the ocean for a couple of days after a big storm as runoff often brings disease-causing bacteria to the beaches.

Forecast is for 79F here in San Antonio and about the same for Juju on Padre Island. Actually was warmer yesterday than the forecast, near 80F instead of the forecast 76F. A bit humid with heavy overcast this morning which probably kept the temperature up last night.

Yep, the sun has disappeared and we have had some nuisance rain - the kind that messes up your glasses but is really mist so an umbrella isn't really needed, LOL.
