It's 45 here at 9ish, LOL. Still gray and foggy out. No breeze and temps are going to 61 -- it's a heatwave, hahahahaha.

WOW, I can see the sun and some blue skies, maybe the all day fog situation has changed back to normal chilly weather.

Warmed up to 56F today which is still some 10 degrees below normal for here this time of year. Forecast 65F tomorrow but then drop again into the low 50s Thursday and Friday.

41F on our patio at 6:10 this morning. That’s 2 degrees warmer than yesterday morning. Warmer this afternoon in the 60s but another cold front tomorrow. Could be some minor rain with the cold front but nothing significant.

Was 52F when I got up this morning at 5:30 AM but has dropped to 49F now at 10:25 AM. Yesterday’s forecasted warm up to the low to mid 60s never happened, maybe making it to 57F. Our outdoor cat….really a semi-feral we’ve taken care of for eight years….has gone into what I called the “igloo”. The igloo ìs a cat carrier that I set up each winter with several layers of insulating blankets and old towels. It sits on a 4 inch outdoor cushion so it’s not on the stone of our covered patio. It’s out of the weather at least in the sense it’s out of the rain and sheltered from the wind. It also has a weather proof rabbit hutch electric heating pad in it that I turned on yesterday.

Chilly willy ... it was warm yesterday but temps will drop to a high of 52 today! Skies are bright with gray, fog and clouds. A very slight breeze.

Many residents in California got an alert Thursday morning from the MyShake App notifying them a 5.9 earthquake struck in western Nevada.
However, the USGS has confirmed it was a false alarm and there was no earthquake.

If you’re in the High Plains region right now, get the "f" off the roads! You will not reach your destination safely. Wait for daylight and for the roads to be cleared.
And beware of black ice!
Slow down. Find shelter. Hunker down until this passes.

Snow is moving into the Texas Panhandle tonight, and a few narrow bands could drop 1 to 4 inches by Thursday morning. Roads may get slick, including Interstate 40 and Highway 287. Take it slow if you’re out early. ❄️🚗

45F on our patio this morning at 7 AM. Dotster, our outdoor cat, is in his heated retreat and hasn’t come out for his typical morning treat. Forecast is 55F later this afternoon which is way below normal. Should warm up starting tomorrow and next week should be back to our normal high 60s to low 70s.

I walked the beach at 5 pm, with the sun beginning to set, 72 degrees, forgot to wear a sleeveless shirt, so came back home with minor sweat.

45F on the patio at 6:15 AM. Yesterday was a weird day for the weather. Got up to a record or near record temperature of 78F around 3 PM then suddenly crashed 8+ degrees in a little over an hour. Forecast for today is 64F so back to being under our normal.
