RN, Grooch it's only been 3 of us for Thanksgiving for a few years. I get a Jennie O turkey breast in a bag, and it's just enough for dinner and one day of leftovers..... and moist and delicious!
Homemade mashed potatoes because you just can't buy them to taste as delicious, but the other sides come from the grocery store deli.
And a pie from the local bakery.

RN, I was missing listening to Taran everyday so I signed up for his Patreon - $5 per month. And he is commenting on Squid Games - the reality show.
I am finding it very entertaining. I never watched any squid games before so it's fun to watch.
Off to watch Episode 3! But first my David's Cookies just got here so I need to open that box, LOL.

RN I watched ep one of the game show after I saw your post. It's so much like the tv show!
RN The closing date for the houses was moved up a day. I'm kinda glad. It feels like time slowed down waiting to move.

RN It was Mack’s hamburger grind this morning. Seven pounds of Angus chuck roast ground, vacuumed packed, and in the freezer. As I have said before not a bargain or savings but no old meat and no fillers. Going on 25 years of grinding our own with maybe only one or two “emergency” buys of ground beef from the grocery store. Luckily we have HEB grocery stores and their meat markets are super but still prefer our own.

RN, Naja, I believe it is a show that is streaming on Netflix - is that what you meant when you said like the TV show. I have watched all 4 episodes and was very entertained, LOL. Cracks me up how they all act when they are "killed".

RN Actually last night we went out to a restaurant for dinner. First time in nearly two months. Between my wife’s extremely demanding work and then the government shutdown we couldn’t eat out easily. As for her back pay looks like Monday or Tuesday. We survived but it will be nice a big chunk back in our account.

RN this is a weird one.
They just did a 30 second story on the news that Ford Motor Company and Amazon have made a deal, and we will now be able to buy used Fords off of Amazon.
I just find that so odd.
