Alaska is a red state (as votes went) but these are indigenous people and apparently any infrastructure supporting them is DEI

What was on radar in Central Oklahoma this morning?
Rain? No.
Snow? No.
The radar was not detecting rain this morning, per National Weather Service, it was Monarch butterflies waking up from an overnight nap. Oklahoma is one of the fly over states used by the Monarch to reach Mexico for the winter.
Very cool! 😎

Another nice day, temps going to 83. Clear blue skies, no breeze but it feels great.

Apparently an Atmospheric River is headed our way Thurs-Sat ... hitting mostly Washington, Oregon and Northern California. Looks like the closest it will get to me is Marin County, LOL.

The Sun is back!! Blue skies with a few fluffy white clouds, a very slight breeze and temps going to 72.

Beams of sunlight are hitting the living room rug where kitties are sun bathing.

We have Sunshine and a few fluffy clouds, a slight breeze and temps going to 69.

The angle of the sun right now comes in just right onto my living room rug and the kitties love they can lounge there, LOL.

Looks stormy today, gray cloudy skies and a strong breeze, temps going to 67.

Looks like some rain is going through the Bay Area but it is unlikely my area will get any, LOL.

Lovely out but wintery. Bright skies that are cloudy - white and gray, a strong breeze with temps going to 68.

Chance of rain ... 1% to 15%, so likely none.

Major Hurricane Melissa is a dangerous category 4 hurricane and will become a Category 5 as it gradually approaches Jamaica -- which is only moving at 3 mph.
Melissa will literally bring FEET of rain for portions of Jamaica which will lear to widespread catastrophic flooding, in addition to very destructive winds and life threatening storm surge.
Monster of a storm!

The coastal tornado threat will continue all day, today across the Gulf Coast including a few supercells.
Several tornadoes including a strong tornado or two have occurred across Louisiana and Mississippi with one in Alabama as well.
Most tornadoes will be rain wrapped, making it more dangerous.
Have ways to receive Tornado Warnings.

The breeze came up and blew the clouds away so now there is clear blue sky and I can hear the birds singing.

After a devastating/catastrophic landfall in Jamaica, Major Hurricane Melissa has emerged north of the island. In a couple hours it will strike in southern and eastern Cuba.

At least 5 to 6 houses have collapsed along the Outer Banks of North Carolina over the past few days and more could collapse in coming days due to dangerous waves/high surf.
