RN As many of you know Mrs Mack is the chief financial officer of a Federal agency. She is categorized as essential personnel so has to work but like other Federal employees will not get paid. She has been going into her office every day and participating with other leaders and senior managers who are also essential employees. Anyhow, she just text me she will be working from home the rest of the shut down. Why? The AC in their office building has broken and since it’s an administrative building it doesn’t qualify as an essential facility so no repairs. AC in Texas is essential especially since this building has a pretty large data server that can’t run without AC.

Well, with the way things are going, I hope this is a good thing. It sounds like it would be, but then you never know.

RN Kind of a good thing. A few years ago during the Covid pandemic we upgraded our home office. Between what we did and the governments improvements Mrs Mack can fully function at home. Instead of 5:15 AM it will be 6:00 AM wake-up which is goodly.

RN For sure sounds like a good thing. Funny how it's like a domino effect.

Agreed! I can't believe how inexpensive houses can be. Where I live that's the going rate for a used mobile home on a lot.

RN when I get back from lunch, I have to drive the company van to a farm across the island to pick up an order. And I have to take the old man with me. I'm a nervous wreck. That van is way to big for me and I have a hard time driving and seeing out the back or the sides of it. There will be a lot of traffic on curving, one lane roads that they drive 60mph on. And then i also have the 3 lane roads and traffic circles to get through first. Pray for me.

Naja. Great presentation!

Yes here it would be that price for a fairly old mobile home and the space rents are crazy high.

The sure found beautiful skies. Hope it isn't AI. Our sky is like that today.

RN Grooch, how did the trip go?

RN I'm pretty bummed that my favorite house didn't pass it's last inspection, and there was some pretty bad stuff on it, including termites, and a damp crawlspace. Agents exact words "Run away!"

But it sure is perdy :-(

RN ACK! I have 3 house showings in a row tomorrow, back to back to back. I'd like to know how I am going to sit in my car in my neighbor's driveway with 3 big dogs for over an hour and a half! I am a little panicky right now.

RN I wish! I can't drive with 3 dogs in the car. Especially when one of them is Roxie. I'm a nervous driver as it is.
