I was just watching the local news. I female reporter was giving a live report. It was pouring down rain. She was getting drenched. Lol. She had the same expression on her face as a cat does, that is stuck in the rain.

severeweatherus 36m Confidence is increasing in a potential for a widespread damaging wind event & possible derecho tomorrow and tomorrow night across Texas and Oklahoma. Damaging winds could exceed 80-105+ mph along the Mesoscale Convective System. A few tornadoes are also possible. Treat Severe Thunderstorm and Tornado Warnings seriously tomorrow! Have multiple ways to receive warnings!

severeweatherus 19m Current thinking on tonight's storms. Supercells may develop in the OK/TX Panhandle, then from into an MCS/derecho. 90-110mph winds & tornadoes are expected. Areas along the I-35 corridor in Oklahoma will likely be impacted by 11 PM - 12 AM & areas near DFW will be impacted by midnight. Tonight will likely be a night where you want to stay up. This is a high-end severe weather outbreak that could be life-threatening. You have got to remain aware & take action should a warning be issued!

An isolated temperature of 90° F+ isn't out of the question. This is the first Heat Advisory ever issued in Alaska! Stay hydrated and look before you lock! That storm did a lot of damage in San Antonio, more than I initially thought. We live in the very north part of the city…well actually in the county but the city limits are three blocks south of our house…and got 2 1/4 inches of rain. It is also hilly up here so it drains pretty quickly and well without flooding. Just south of us in the city, and l mean like maybe a mile they got 7 to 9 inches of rain. The main city sits on basically a flat plain so flash flooding happens. We desperately need the rain but not in one big downburst.
