Richard Chamberlain died on Saturday night at age 90. The actor rose to fame as the heartthrob star of the TV series “Dr. Kildare” in the early 1960s and went on to a new wave of acclaim as the leading man of the 1980s mini-series “Shogun.” nyti.ms/3QVQk…

💔 Not long after Shogun aired, and he was in Toronto filming a Canadian thriller with the working title Bells, I had the honour and great pleasure of interviewing RICHARD CHAMBERLAIN on the set. I also recently enjoyed his memoir Shattered Love. What a gentleman, and a gentle soul! He will be missed.
R.I.P. Sir and may flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

Val Kilmer, ‘Top Gun’ and Batman star with an intense approach, dies at 65
quote: Val Kilmer, the brooding, versatile actor who played fan favorite Iceman in “Top Gun,” donned a voluminous cape as Batman in “Batman Forever” and portrayed Jim Morrison in “The Doors,” has died. He was 65.
Kilmer died Tuesday night in Los Angeles, surrounded by family and friends, his daughter, Mercedes Kilmer, said in an email to The Associated Press.
Val Kilmer died from pneumonia. He had recovered after a 2014 throat cancer diagnosis that required two tracheotomies.
