Saturday ... Fun and Errands
Well it was supposed to be errands but my sister had to cancel at the last minute, she caught the cold everyone brought to work last week.
So bummed I was dreaming of Bacon and Eggs, LOL. Everything on my list is fine to wait EXCEPT my Krsipy Kreme deal that expires on the 4th. I'll have to see about going there sometime this week somehow.
For now, email, newspaper, yogurt and playing games.

Took my rollie to pick up the boxes of books my sister was supposed to take. I was going to carry it up the 4 flights of steps to the 3rd floor but realized it was tooooo heavy. So I sat down in it an drove backwards around the hallways past 12 units to the elevator, then back around 12 units to the one I wanted to grab the books and do the whole thing over again! I got 400 steps out of the deal, LOL.
Then I started on the kitchen, got the coffee brewing and cleaned off the kitty plates, rinsed and loaded up the dishwasher. Finally I refilled all the water bottles then the coffee was ready. I got the trash ready to go when I leave for dinner and now working on email and the office area.
I was trying to clean up the file cabinet area and found a 2025 Calendar!!!! YEAH, I have been needing one so now I can update it with birthdays etc.
Off to order some new kitty grass and finish up email.

Sunday ... a day for reading in bed ...
It's gray and cloudy, after Bingo I think I will hunker down in bed with the paper, computer games, a good book and enjoy the day relaxing.
I did get the kitchen cleaned up and took out some recycling and trash on the way to brunch.
Now enjoying my coffee and dealing with email.

It's HOme Blessing Day AND haven't received an email but we are probably in the kitchen this week, so clean something there, LOL.
I did clean up the kitty plates and other stuff, got the dishwasher going while I brewed my coffee.
Then I transferred money around so I can pay the rent later this week, plus I ordered some new hoop earrings.
I have Bingo at 2pm and then I am taking the day off -- afterall it is sort of a holiday today.

Its Planning Day AND today is a multi room mission today, it might take you longer than 15 minutes to do it, so set your timer for each room and FLY through it!
For the Front Porch, Entrance and Dining Room, put out the fires that are burning in your hot spots. Get rid of the pile of shoes by the front door, get rid of the pile of junk mail and put away the magazines and school papers that are piled on the dining room table.
Apparently I have a meeting at Noon, I was looking forward to goofing off till Bingo at 7pm.
Off to read the paper and have some yogurt

Interesting meeting with the Manager, apparently when we mentioned the number of people moving out this month (ten) caused "negative gossiping" amongst the residents. Carlton is overly sensitive about negative comments which I have found to be kind of amazing.
We did have a good talk about the food, she was curious what we thought about it. I told her that while I think the food is good I felt I had more choices under the old system.
We did talk about why so much Turkey and "Where's the Bacon". It would be nice to have bacon or Sausage at Brunch on Sundays instead of always having sausage. So it was a good impromptu meeting and we will no longer mention how many people are moving out at our meetings.
I have managed to get my email cleared and I went and printed off the recommended documents from Social Security btu that is about all.
I need to finish the paper, finish unloading the dishwasher and get my taxes finalized. I did my taxes a couple of months ago but since I have to pay I wanted to wait until now. However, I normally pay electronically but now I want to send a check so I have to go figure out how to do that, LOL>

It's Anti-Procrastination Day - I finally unloaded my laundry delivery - AND Today take a look at the walls and the windows in your dining room. Grab some cleaner and a cloth and go after the finger prints and smudges. Let's carry this mission to your front door too. Wipe down the door and pay attention to the area around the door handle.
I finally dealt with the laundry, LOL, and that lead to a little rearrangement of the closet and pulling some clothes for donation and/or the trash. I did fill up the bag - It is really a nice one with a permanent name tag for me - with the old mattress pad and a set of sheets for next month.
Also got my Safeway order done - I BOUGHT Eggs!!! They were $10!! But I have been craving them, so I got some Bacon too.
Got my dinner order ready for tomorrow and I guess I will go down around 4:30 for dinner and then I have Bingo at 7pm.
And I decided to donate to Cory Booker. For now I am off to email, etc.

It's Errand Day AND we are in Zone 1; our Entrance, Front Porch, and Dining Room! Spend 15 minutes getting rid of anything that does not belong on your porch or front entrance way. Things that have gotten thrown in a corner, along the wall, or even on the floor.
I need to change out my hallway decorations to Spring / Easter but that's not on my list for today. I do plan to get the dec's out of the Storage Room so I may end up changing stuff later.
But first on my list is taxes!! Then shower and using real curlers for my hair. I have my dinner being delivered and have all day to do the many chores / fun things I want to accomplish.
We had great dinner and then Bingo last night - one person won 3 games in a row, which is starting to become a pattern so I need to ask how the bingo packets are being assembled. They should just be counted 6, then staple, but I suspect that the person who does it is trying to make each packet have the same color sheet which could screw up the randomnness.
I wouldn't have concern but last week we had a person win 5 in a row and the time before that they won 4 in a row. I would love to look at the random number caller and see if it needs a reboot or update too, but the guy in charge is very possessive. Hmmmm maybe I can get The Life Experience Manager to help me do that.
Anyway, back to my coffee, noon games and Perry Mason, Oh and clearing email so I can get on with my other chores.

Taxes filed and accepted. I had a minor heart attack when I went to finalize them and all of a sudden I owed 2400 instead of 615!! I figured out that TurboTax had imported my Schwab statement that I had already input manually. So everything was doubled. I didn't realize I needed to cancel the "import document" since I did it manually.
Anyway that is done and I have the forms to mail my tax payment on the Feds.
Then I went and cleaned up the kitchen, I had been remiss and just stacking stuff in the second sink. Now that has been cleaned up, dishwasher loaded and cleaned out the fridge and dumped old food / soups, etc.
Then I ran the trash out to the bins.

It's Clean your Purse and Car Day AND Let's go into the dining room and get down and dirty with the cobwebs and the dust bunnies. Look up and look down, get the dust off the baseboards and the cobwebs out of the corners in the ceiling.
So my Safeway order came, I got 2 big bags of coffee, some TP and other things. Imagine my surprise when I got THREE GALLONS of WHOLE MILK!!! What the heck am I going to do with this, LOL. Didn't order it and wasn't charged for it, now I need to find some people to take it!
I am going to try and get The Bistro to take it but they will probably say no. I am going to say "Pretend you needed milk so you just ran over to Safeway to get it, I even have the bags, lOL". The old chef used to have to run over there for lettuce all the time when his deliveries didn't come.
Anyway, that is my excitement. I just need to work on my chores. I have been doing some spring cleaning, inadvertently, when working on other projects. I need to deal with cans and bottles, I have a bunch of boxes to take out and Bingo at 2pm.
Otherwise just making sure I am ready for Housekeeping tomorrow and playing my games.
Off to email while I enjoy my coffee and do a few games.

Saturday ... a day of rest ...
I cancelled Housekeeping today because I had a slight fever and chills last night. Seem to be ok today, LOL, but it means I have to do my own cleanup.
So far, I have cleaned the kitchen, got the dishwasher running, dumped and cleaned the dustbuster, cut up the yogurt cups and got some water for the inside plants.
Working on email and tvch. Got the coffee made and playing a few computer games.

Grabbed the bag of cans and empty bottles, took them out on the balcony and organized the bags. Then grabbed the Spring Decorations out of the Storage Unit.
Now I am sneezing like crazy ... must be some new pollen out there.

It's Home Blessing Day AND We are in the Kitchen this week. Set your timer for 10 minutes and take a broom or a Multi-wand and get those dust bunnies and cobwebs that are hanging on the upper walls that are taller than you, the corners of the ceilings and the ceiling.
I haven't done much yet, pulled some things out of my closet to restock my bathroom. My friend is at jury duty and called while she went to MacDonalds for lunch, so I felt compelled to Door Dash an order myself, LOL.
Next up on my list is to hang the spring decorations in the hallway, I did take down the winter stuff so it is very blank out there.
Working on email, got thru the newspaper and I think I will go hang stuff and clean the kitchen.

It's Planning Day AND time to wipe down the doors of your cabinets. Use a damp rag and wipe down the fronts and the edges of your cabinets.
For me it's trash and recycle day. I plan to get rid of all the boxes, trash, newspapers and other recycling.
For now it's time for the newspaper, yogurt and Perry.

Kitchen has been cleaned up, all the masses of kitty food for a couple of days have been trashed and that bag of trash is in the bins. Also loaded up the dishwasher and turned it on.
Plus I took out the newspapers to the recycling bin. The other thing on my list has been to "deal" with my closet. So I got the extra supplies stored on the shelves, got rid of an empty box that used to be slept in by Nala.
Organized the long sleeved shirts together so I can move into my more "spring/summer" tops, then bagged up a bunch of clothes to donate. I do also have a bag of stuff for the free table and I got a box of goodwill going and stored under my chair. So the Closet project is basically done. The last thing left is to bring in the stepstool and go thru the boxes of stuff stored there and see if it can be donated, trashed (there are a couple of boxes from my tablet purchases) or restored.
Now it's time for Lazyfit, unpack my Chewy box and play computer games. Later I will take all the boxes out to the trash room and break them down.

It's Anti-Procrastination Day -- so the boxes are going to finally go to the recycle room, LOL, AND
time to dive into the refrigerator! Grab your trash can and take it over to the refrigerator. First toss out any leftovers that have gotten pushed to the back and have now started to turn into a science project. Second, check the fruit/vegetable drawers and toss what no longer is appealing to eat. Third, check the meat and cheese drawer, check the expiration dates on your items in there and toss what needs to go.
Off to read the paper, have some yogurt and watch Perry.

Got my Covid Booster and some lab work done. It was fast, LOL, I asked where was everyone and the lab clerk said "they were all here this morning"! The biggest delay was that the shot clinic was closed for lunch and had just reopened when I had my appointment.
Email is cleared so it's time to catch up on computer games.

It's Errand Day AND its time to scrub those kitchen counter tops. I cleaned up the kitchen a bit by dumping the old kitty food and getting the plates soaking.
I need to unload the dishwasher so I can reload it, but for now I am working on email, combining my THREE lists into one, reading the newspaper and watching Perry.

Got my lists combined, don't know how I ended up with 3, LOL. Unloaded the dishwasher, loaded it back up and cleaned the sinks.
Got the indoor plants all watered and moved the boxes that need to go into the SR by the door, but Nala is enjoying the lovely day napping on the chair so I will put them away later when she comes in.
Sent out the emails for minutes, newsletter and The Bistro coming to the Resident Council meeting later this month. I did confirm with Adrian that he would attend so I can put it on the agenda.
Now I am catching up on my computer games and finishing the paper. Oh and I seem to have a pile of stuff on the printer that I need to sort and deal with.

It's Clean your Purse and Car Day AND time to grab your broom and your mop. Sweep your kitchen floor really well and then mop. There are several ways to mop a kitchen floor and no real wrong way. Hot soapy water and wipe.
I cleaned up the kitchen and hauled the old food out to the trash bins. Some fool put a very nice walker into the recycle bin! I tried to get it out so we could put it up at the Free Table but it was too heavy and kind of jammed in, so I called the front desk to remove it.
I have Bingo at 2pm and Moose Bingo at 5pm so a busy day. Working on email now.

Safeway delivery came and has been put away, now I am breaking down the sacks and removing the stickers. I got donuts! haven't had them in a while, I asked for no cake donuts so I got one, LOL.
I finally got the boxes put away in the Storage Room, no kitties on the balcony for a change, LOL. And I watered all the outside plants and gave the kitties new water (in their office water bucket - they have several others, the bathroom one gets refreshed multiple times a day)
I did get the agenda done for the next meeting and I reminded the secretary I need the minutes. I swear it is easier for me to do them myself but I need other people to do stuff, I can't do everything.
