RN It stopped at 23.
The neighbors to the south of me are having a front yard Halloween shindig! I wish I knew them.

RN tonight was a bust. Perfect weather by any definition and only 15 kids. A couple of toddler aged cuties before sunset and then a few groups of two or three after that. Our cul de sac that used to set up a joint table with all sorts of goodies and almost a party atmosphere was shut down and dark by 8:30PM. We are thinking we might stay dark next year and not participate at all. Sad. 😟

Since I am back home this year, I won't open the door.. I refuse to take Halloween from my black cat by locking her in a bedroom.
But I bought some individual bags of pretzels.. Gluten free .. And gave them to my neighbor who has 2 kids and a mellow dog. They belong to an accepting church and she supports the LGBTQ kids there. I gave her some really cool shirts that she handed out to young people to wear for the Pride parade.
She told me about all this after she saw my car with certain bumper magnets.
So I gave them the 20 packets of pretzels.
No one rang or knocked after I got home from voting and the grocery but there were definitely kids. I do think it lightly rained.

I voted this morning, as I was leaving I saw they had a voting table for little kids. I believe it was 3 questions and 2 options. 1 was voting between waffles and pancakes.
I thought it was sweet and charming, when I worked elections before going back to work, we didn't have that.
I would much rather be bombarded with commercials for pancakes and waffles than the increasingly nasty and inaccurate bile of political candidates. Living in border states makes it twice as awful.

RN Well, I thought I was being smart and changed the 4 clocks that needed it before I went to bed. I got up at what I thought was 7:30 AM and I wondered why it was so dark outside. I looked at my phone and it was 5:30 AM. I set my clocks forward instead of back. hahaha!

Hahahahahahaha, Naja that is so funny. My phone changed but for some reason my new smart watch didn't. Took me a few minutes to get it to figure out the time change.
