After all that, 3 different agents, it seems my remote had unpaired itself from my TV. So once we paired it it worked again!
I did get the balcony cleared, the cans put where they belong and organized better behind my chair.
Also got my sheets bagged up for the cleaners to pick up tomorrow.
So it's nice to finally get some chores done and now maybe I will sort my socks.

It's Home Blessing Day AND Flylady got taken out by the hurricane and has no internet! So I guess the mission for today would be to scrub those kitchen counters.
I cleaned up the kitchen, dumped the bad kitty food and refilled water bottles. I also did a Safeway order and WOW.
I signed up for the $99 per year delivery, don't know why I hadn't before, and there was a flash delivery offer for $2. They would be here between 10:35 and 10:55am today. Next thing I knew at 10:15 there was a little knock on the door and they were here! So I got that put away.
I have been getting ready for the heat, I closed up the blinds and watered the outside plants, need to finish up the interior ones.
I also emailed BofA and said WHERE is my money, LOL. I expected it to be in my account this morning, it has been missing toooo long.
Anyway, back to email, Taran, Twitter, yogurt and the newspaper.

Flylady is still down ... it's normally Planning day and do something in the kitchen, LOL.
Thank goodness my money is back in my BofA account. I went ahead and set up a transfer into my AMX account using the AMX transfer. So we shall see how this works.
Time for some yogurt and the newspaper.

Today is Anti-Procrastination Day - I shall check my list for something AND Lets wipe down the stove, knobs and all.
I have bagged up the old kitty food and some trash and taken that out to the bins along with the Newspaper recycling. Also got the coffee going.
Time to clean the dishes and reload the dishwasher, grab the coffee and get to email, twitter, the newspaper and later $5 Bingo.

I updated my wall calendar, it was still on September, then I got my Chewy order done.
I think I will go work on the newsletter, I think it would be fun to put a spooky picture on it, LOL.

Flylady is back, at least enough to put out a mission for today. I guessed wrong, we are in the entrance, front porch and dining room!
Today is Errand Day AND time to clear off some of the things that have begun to pile up on the table.
I cleaned up the kitchen and have the dishwasher running and my plan is water plants, shower, do several loads of laundry and stay home.
So now I am off to read the paper and have some yogurt, oh and I need to start the coffee.

Newspaper, shower, yogurt and computer games are done. I was expecting GH to show at 11am and had my whole day planned around that because that was what the TV guide indicated. BUT NOOOOOO ... unclear when GH will show but I have my tennies on and I am ready to start my laundry plan.
I also did a computer update so now I need to get my coffee and get thru computer stuff, then see if GH starts at 1pm.
But first lets clear some email and twitter.

First load of laundry is in the washer, when it is done I will haul the other bag of laundry up and finish washing.
I decided it would be easier for me to take things up and down the steps with 2 trips instead trying to get it all up there at the same time. I have all day, LOL, and since I have to go up to change the fist load to the dryer it makes sense I can start what I think will be 2 more loads
Back to Taran and email.

Oh and I broke down and turned on the AC!! It didn't really cool off much last night so I don't think I slept that well and running up and down the stairs is making me hot.
So, got the AC on to cool off the house and maybe I can turn it off when we hit the peak time.

First load in the dryer, 2 loads in the washer! So all the laundry will be done and I must stay in the "when the bag is full" do the laundry, LOL.
My one bag is a perfect load of laundry so I shouldn't wait til I have so much!
First run of email is done, now working on twitter.

Final two loads of laundry are in the dryer, the line dry stuff is out and drying, and now I need to get the hanging stuff put away in the closet.
And now I am going out to dinner around 5.30, for a good burger.

It's clean your purse and car day AND choose your own mission day. Set your timer for 15 minutes and do something that needs to be done.
I got the kitchen cleaned up a bit, matched up all the socks that were drying from yesterday's laundry and watered all the outdoor plants. Then refreshed the kitty water.
Sylvester insisted on going out on the balcony after his morning food so I turned off the AC and opened up the door. Naturally he only stayed out for 5 minutes, LOL. When I was out there I found my command hook had fallen off the door, re-stuck it and re-hung the wreath. Hope it stays.
I am going to mostly work on office stuff because my back is quite sore from all the stair climbing and running around.
Off to do email, twitter and Taran.

Email is done, taran is done and I have been working on the newsletter but I can't remember what it was that I wanted to put in it. I had it written down on a paper that blew off my desk and it has simply disappeared. So weird, two papers blew off and only one has been found.
I do have some mail I need to deal with and I should work on the flyer for the Holiday Tip Fund so maybe it will come to me what article I wanted to put in, otherwise I will just pull something form my newsletter article folder.
Off to work on twitter and mail.

Saturday .. A day for fun and staying cool!!
Just grabbing the paper and some yogurt, also turning on the AC unit to keep the house cool today. It didn't cool off that much last night.
I was planning to put up my Halloween decorations since it was supposed to be cooler today, hahahahahaha. Oh well I guess we will have Hot Halloween.
I ordered some new kitty grass and I'm not sure what chores will be done. I did get all the socks sorted and put away. I know have to baskets, the winter socks and the summer socks.
time for yogurt.

Cleaned up the kitchen, dishwasher unloaded and reloaded, Brita filter changed then water bottles refilled and old fridge food dumped in with the stinky old cat food. Both out to the trash and some cans out to the recycling.
I dustbusted the bathroom and realized it needed a bit of spot mopping, so that's done. Then I restocked the TP and cleaned the litter box.
Finally I moved a cushion from my sofa to my closet chair. The chair is more comfortable now and the sofa was overburdened with cushions so that worked out great
Time to work on the email and twitter, plus I need to listen to my Day Drinking podcast. I took some more cans out to the balcony and it is getting hot!!!

Thanks to Dipo for reminding me to turn the heat down to 64-67 at night. Temp is going down to 48 tonight - a bit too cool to have a window cracked, but don't want the furnace trying to keep the house at 70.

Sunday ... It's Hot ...
Shut down the house, Sylvester insisted on being able to go out on the balcony last night, LOL. So now we are "locked in" and the AC is going. It didnt get that cool last night so I want to cool off the house this morning so I can raise the temp during the peak hours.
Guess I will just work on computer stuff today - newsletter and minutes. It's hard to think about Halloween decorations while it feels like summer, LOL but maybe I will switch those out as well.
for now, the Sunday paper and some yogurt.

Dipo, I read something in another thread that San Francisco got to 100 degrees today, but surely they mean East Bay, right? We LOVED living in San Francisco right out at the ocean after living in Very Hot Houston for eight years. But it never got above about 70 degrees in SF during the 5 years we lived there, 1995-2000.

LOL, San Francisco was in the 90's, eastbay 100's and inland over 100. Last night on the news they were showing how the temps had cooled off a bit and SF was still in the 80's, this was around 10ish.
Carl the Fog is supposed to be in tonight and tomorrow Inland is should cool to the 90's and the city back to normal fog and cold, LOL.

It's Home Blessing Day AND now we are back to the kitchen and today we clean your kitchen trash cans!
I grabbed some yogurt and the paper, feed the kitties, and going back to bed.
Some fool set off the fire alarm at 11.23 last night and it rang until 11.35!! They can't turn it off until they know it's ok and not a real fire alarm. AND it is REALLY loud. There are a lot of hard of hearing people here.
So I am tired, it is very startling when it goes off and scares the kitty. Sylvester came to me and wanted to be snuggled once it finally went off.
So back to bed to "listen" to the news, nap a little and then newspaper and yogurt.
