RN Ha! I never know what to say in those reviews, so I just tell everyone their dog is wonderful. LOL Except for the pit bulls. I'm a little more honest. I don't want other sitters to be caught off guard. But if a dog makes a mistake in the house, or misbehaves a little, I don't say anything. People love hearing how great their fur babies are.

RN I am shouting from the rooftop for everyone to see Mickey Guyton on tour if near by. https://www.mickeyguyton.com/tour I saw her first show yesterday, on her first headline tour, and it was even better than imagined. I canât believe this is her first headline tour, she so deserves to be in arenas and not intimate venues, but you canât find a more engaging artist who will talk with you at the end. And while itâs beyond ridiculous she is the âfirstâ black female to be nominated for best country song/album, people would not realize she is a country artist for 80% of her set because she does that good of a job integrating country with pop, rock, and R&BâŠ. And oh boy, she did Tina Turner proud with a surprise cover of Whatâs Love Gotta Do With It. You HAVE to see her in person! (As I told Mickey yesterday when getting a photo with her, with the exception of Alison Krauss collaborating with Yo-Yo Ma, I hadnât bought a country album since 1994, until I heard her sing Black Life Me .)

RN I didn't know who she was so I watched a couple of her songs on youtube. Wow, she's good! Thanks for bringing her to my attention RN I love the group I have here today, but they aren't quite as obedient. LOL Rosso the mini doodle, Roxy the Bernese Mountain dog, Molly the Schnairedale, and my two girls. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F80ggbK3UNw

I bet they would all sit for treats, which would reward a brief moment of calm. And dogs actually love those moments. Actually, even cats will sit for treats. They seem very happy without the pit bulls. And the pits' mom should pay more, because their presence means some other dogs can't be there.

RN Every day I try to think of a nice way to let the pit's go. It's as hard as getting rid of the Nun! Here's one of everyone running the fence today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sfTFHVz5x4

LOL, Dolly is by far the best fence runner and leader of the pack in that task.

I was wondering the other day, as I walked past the mother house of the Sisters of St Joseph on my way to my ophthalmologist, about the nun to be.. If she was still at her job or did she become a nun.. I suspect she was more stressful than the pits. But, I get why you would like them to find another place to stay.

Simply tell Mama Pitbull that having her pups there limits what other dogs you can have at the same time therefore limiting your earnings.

RN I'll think on it for a little while. RN I just realized Roxy the Bernese Mountain Dog is only 1.5 yrs old. No wonder she's so energetic.

Naja, I'm sure you'll come up with the right answer about the pits. Just for everyone's safety, you'll need to keep not having other dogs there when they are there, and keeping the pits separate (my opinion) when they are. That one dog - you just can't predict what will trigger him, as triggers usually get worse and more generalized as they get older. So please be very very careful if you are boarding them.

RN I am leaning toward asking her to find someone else at least for Max the scary one. I'm actually having a bit of anxiety thinking of both of them here over Thanksgiving.

RN Ok, this is what I've come up with so far. Tell me what you guys think. " Hi MacKenzie, this is Naja your dog sitter I realized that I am having a bit of anxiety thinking of having both of the boys here over Thanksgiving. The hole in Patsy's lip is still healing (her ear is back to normal). Is there any way that I can keep just Naveen? I really wasn't anticipating the level of anxiety I was going to feel."

RN Yes, the whole rake incident. I went to rake up some of the debris from cutting the bushes while the dogs were out, and Max came running at me and attacked the rake. I threw the rake and called all the dogs into the house. I went out and leaned the rake against the deck. After everyone calmed down , we all went back out. I was not going to rake until they went home, and Max saw the rake against the deck and attacked it again. I mean crazy mean attack. Naveen (his adopted brother) got near him and was going to help him attack the rake but Max turned on him and attacked his brother until he was bloody. Their brawl moved around and got near Patsy, and he turned his anger on Patsy. Her ear got bit, and I didn't even notice until late that night that her upper lip had a hole straight through.

RN I thought I would be ok with keeping everyone separate, but now I feel like it's not feasible.

RN Ok, I talked with Mom and she insisted I send it. So I did. The only thing I changed was I added "This is hard to bring up". Waiting for her reply

RN Whew! She isn't angry. She understands. She even apologized to me. If she can get her cousin to stay at her house, she'll keep both the dogs home, but if her dad can watch Max, then I'll be keeping just Naveen. Which is great.

RN, glad it seems to be worked out. I was going to suggest you simply tell her, not ask her as you are in charge and it is your decision/choice not hers.

Whew, indeed. This is not on you, Naja. This is this owner's choices of dogs to live with and HER choices in training them and how to integrate her needs to travel vs. her need to be home to ensure her pets have the best life and are not a danger to other animals, including humans. It is absolutely NOT on you. You have Patsy and Dolly, and, oh, the one who got carried upstairs in his/her own suitcase? I will remember the name the minute I hit the POST button.

RN Juju, I can't figure out which do you mean. RN The only thing I feel was on me was that I took the booking in the first place. I took the booking knowing I shouldn't, and then changed my mind. So in that way I felt like I did something wrong to them.

Naja, you've given her plenty of time to make alternative plans. Almost 2 months. It's not like you did it a week before Thanksgiving. So don't feel bad. You did the right thing for everybody and every dog. Holidays are stressful times for humans and dogs pick up on that and make them less predictable, too.

Naja, don't be too hard on yourself. I know you need the income, and you don't want to disappoint people. But you have to put your safety and the safety of ALL the dogs (including hers) first. You did the right thing.
