:-( Shredded. She was a trailblazing icon for the rest of us women in entertainment media. Especially in her early days.

Look for her early interview with Dolly Parton. So long ago .. She interviewed several up and coming people and I only remember Dolly. My then husband and I agreed that this person knew where she was going. Barbara said she had not anticipated being impressed but that after the interviews, she picked Dolly as the one who would succeed.

So true.

Barbara had an amazing life and career.

More information on the Jeremy Renner accident. His snowplow ran over one of his legs. He lost a lot of blood, but a nearby doctor was able to apply a tourniquet before being airlifted to a hospital. Already, he has had 2 surgeries. Sad stuff.

Did you guys see how Danny Masterson (Hyde on "That 70s Show") was found guilty of 2 rapes? He could get up to 30 years. It ends up since he is a Scientologist, the church was protecting him for decades from the charges by keeping the victims quiet.

He deserves to retire. It’s been a long run on WOF.

Ryan Seacrest has been named as host of Wheel of Fortune. My guess is that it’s why he left Kelly and Ryan. It’s probably been in the works for quite awhile.

I agree.. as soon as Pat Sajak announced, I thought of Ryan and I sure wasn't alone in that. I think he's kind of perfect for that job.

It’s a good gig for him. They record multiple shows over a short period of time. And, it’s in LA. So, all around, it’s a win in his work life balance. I also read that he was a producer on the show as part of the deal and Vanna was still going to be on the show.

Kelly Clarkson was on Jimmy Fallon last night and she has really slimmed down.

What's incredibly sad about Wendy Williams is that her family, including her son, have absolutely no contact with her and do not even know where she is. I understand that her guardianship is court ordered but to not let her family have any knowledge of where she is is very strange. I keep thinking of the move I Care Alot on prime. Yes, it's fiction, but I also think it's an eye opener as to what can happen when the family is kept completely in the dark and the 'guardian' has full control of the person's finances.

I feel bad for her. After I retired, I watched her show a number of times. Could not figure out why everyone thought she was so good at it. I saw a hateful, vindictive person who held grudges. Now, I’m wondering if that was her disease beginning to manifest.

I watched all three shows over the weekend. Never was a fan, just aware of her, but feel bad that she was so used and manipulated with warring agendas. The young woman guardian who kept denying that alcohol was not a problem, while others were fighting to keep alcohol away.

All the coke and alcohol.. I wasn't clear how she ended up with lymphedema.

Good information at that link. The behavioral symptoms are right on.

Very sad.

Her sister did say that while they couldn't contact Wendy at the time this filmed, Wendy could and did contact her sister.

Scoot it was the Wendy Williams Documentary on Lifetime, it was a two days, and very interesting.

I think you could really tell that her family was the best help for her but the "show / management" kept blowing smoke up her ass that she could get her show back that she listened to them and the court ordered her back to New York.

Not sure what the deal was about "supposedly taking $100,000" in Miami, but I can imagine it took a good portion of that to keep Wendy in her "way of life", she wanted what she wanted and she wanted it now.

I was glad to see that they are talking to her, it sounds like she is getting the help she needs to manage her health and get her mind back. At one point it was mentioned she had acholic induced dementia and it was very clear she was having trouble with memory.

So hopefully she will be released from the court soon and get to move to Miami to be with her family.

From her famed purple hosting chair, moved to the living room in her New York City apartment, Williams addresses the cameras for “Where Is Wendy Williams?” a two-night event that aired on Lifetime Feb. 24 and Feb. 25, 2024.

Scooter, there was the Documentary that aired in 4 parts (and also in two longer parts.. on lifetime and was sad and interesting. There was also a movie with actors, about Wendy that aired on Lifetime, which I guess followed her career and life, but just a movie.. And another show that was recorded with Wendy's cooperation.
