    I bought a cat flea collar from Dr. Paws. I thought it was going to be a good deal with all natural propellants. I had bought a regular flea collar years ago with poisons that almost killed my cat. Anyway, the flea collar from Dr. paws was thin and developed tears in it. I wrote and told them I  wanted a refund. I had to send them pictures and a video. They said my cat had chewed the collar and they do not provide a refund in that case. He did not chew on it, and it was totally their fault the collar developed tears in it because of the thin material.

    Hecka, I think you would be so much happier doing a once a month pill treatment.

    Naja.. Pilling a cat is a whole different story than pilling a dog, though.    Katniss has a Seresto collar which is quite sturdy.

    Google "20 mule team Borax to kill fleas".  We used it for flea control with two cats and a dog in both Miami and Houston, both very humid places, for twenty years and never harmed our pets nor ourselves.  Read several of the sites.
