It's Home Blessing Day ... and we are going to work on the entrance, front porch and dining room. today we sweep the porch and shake out the welcome mat.
I think I am feeling better, but boy are my sides sore from coughing. Off to take another allergy pill and get into bed.
I did manage to clean up all the tissues, food containers, etc from my day in bed yesterday, so I can start again.

Had some lunch, cleared out some email and did a bit of research here and there on stuff. Like if my stock sold.
Saw that the new stock for 45 took a drastic downturn, that made me laugh.
Did a quick run thru twitter so now I am going to go take a nap.

It's planning day, schedule all the trips you need for Thursday AND time to spend 15 minutes in the entrance way, porch and dining room clearing out any piles that have accumulated.
I feel good, dun na dun na dun na, LOL. I think I heading to wellness, my congestion is gone just a cough left! I opened up the balcony and emptied the cans into their container.
I am going to do an eucalyptus shower later but for now it's time for some yogurt and the paper.

Good nap, finished the paper and played some games. Made some lunch and cleaned up the kitchen while the coffee brewed. Then I ran out some trash and recycling.
Working on Email and twitter. But first off to hit the showers, I need to clear out my head with some steam!

It's Anti-Procrastination Day and time to clean the smudges and fingerprints from the walls and windows in the dining room. Also time to wipe down the front door and sanitize the door handles, LOL.
I got the dishwasher loaded and run this morning, cleaned up the mess on my nightstand - put away all the pills and stuff, tossed the Kleenex.
I put all the boxes out in the hallway and will take those down to bins at some point, I have a few things on my list to accomplish first.
Working on email and twitter.

Made it thru email, had some lunch and now I am working on twitter. Water bottles are refilled and I pulled out the new brita filter, time to change it.
I still need to go and clean / dustbust the bathroom and deal with all those boxes out on the "porch".

It's Errand Day and get rid of stuff that doesn't belong on your porch.
I got the dishwasher unloaded and mostly put away, then cleaned up the kitchen and reloaded it. I did manage to drag all the boxes and trash to the bins, sorted it into the proper places and now I have a nice clear living room and "porch".
Just did a Chery order and sorted some treats out, and made a new list of things tto do today.
It's raining! So glad I brought all the kitty towels in off the balcony last night.
Time to clear email and twitter.

I did finally get to dustbusting / cleaning the bathroom, it looks so much better now.
And I just put all the kitty towels back out on the balcony and the kitties are both sitting in the window where the sun hits.
Time for newspaper and yogurt.

Got thru the newspaper, and went to play Bingo ... won 2 times!!
Got thru email and now need to do twitter. Plus I am behind on my computer games.
I did start the April Newsletter, I have an article on the benefits of Bingo, apparently it is good for cognitive issues, plus it staves off depression which does happen with some older people.
I am also doing an article on the California Middle Class Tax Refund. I got a letter on it and it is a real thing, apparently they send out a credit card with the money and I don't remember every getting one. Anyway you have to call and report it missing /not received and they will send you a new one. I got mine in the mail the other day, I need to call and activate it to see how much moola I get. One of the other ladies here got $300.
Things to do ... off to check twitter.

Glad to hear that Bingo is good for my brain! We usually have between 20 sn 335 players on Mondasy, Wednesday, and Friday What kind of prizes do you have? We have ;candy, cookies, chips, crackers and the like, BUT wealo ave toilet paper, paper towels, batteries, etc. While we have bustransport on Monday- rning and afternoon - and Tuesday morning,mthere are lots of people who do not avail themselves of the service. I am one of the VERY few people who do not have family visitingatleast once a week! II have not boughttolet paper in the nearly 4 months Ihavelived here!

Saturday .. Time to Play
Got the balcony opened up, it's not supposed to rain today. Not sure what I will be up to today.
I have RC stuff to work on and a couple of chores, but I have had a little relapse on my cold. Coughing and feeling a bit tired, so I may just rest in bed and venture out for Bingo and Dinner.
Have a Safeway order coming at some point this morning. Off to have some yogurt and read the paper.

TNT, we have Dime Bingo, you pay a dime for each card you play and the winnings are all the dimes that were paid for each game. On Sundays we have $5 Bingo and the pot's are all money.
Dime Bingo is on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.

Hmmm, I am thinking I gave up on all my medicines too early. Heavy cough is back and I ended up taking a long nap, LOL, from about 9ish to now.
My Safeway order came, and I had asked them to leave it at the door, so I grabbed that while the coffee brewed.
I need to open the Chewy box and restock the kitty food cabinet; I have a bit of dustbusting to do. Just cleaned up a couple of grass throwups I found when I went to check my TV hookups since it wouldn't turn on -- I guess a cable was loosened or something because as soon as I pushed all of them I as able to turn it on.
The kitties do stroll along behind the TV, from one window to the other, of course, there is plenty of room in front of the TV to walk across.
Off to grab some coffee and see what's happening in email and twitter.

Fun time at Bingo, I won 4 times! I was at the point that if I won I wasn't going to call it, LOL. We had 15 players and 2 of us won 4 times.
Now I am working on email and twitter.

Sometimes being too lucky is not a good thing. I had to quite playing Bingo because I am too lucky, and I felt bad for the other players. Same with gambling. I have an Australian relative-in-law who is even more lucky than me, and she gambles and wins. When we visited them in Australia and would eat in pubs that had casinos, she would disappear and then return when she had money to buy all of our dinners. When we went on an Alaska cruise with them, I entered her name in a contest in the library to win an internet time package. She won, of course, and gave the package to me because she didn't know how to use the internet in those days.

Sunday It's a day for fun and reflection.
I was supposed go to the Moose Lodge to paint Gnomes or BirdHouses but I swear I have relasped on this cold. No matter what I do I can't see to get to feeling 100% better.
I got up early around 7.30, fed the kitties, had some yogurt and took a mucinex pill. Then I laid back down to watch Perry Mason and didn't wake up until Nala came to check on me at noon!!
I don't feel bad but I am still very congested and my voice is whacky. I had to hurry to get ready and down for brunch, service ends at 1pm. I was bummed, they were out of eggs, the one reason I went down there, LOL, so I got the sausage and cheesy potatoes to go along with a tiramisu. I can make some eggs at home.
I see now that I don't really feel bad, I just sound terrible, so I guess I am playing $5 bingo at 2pm.
These cheesy potatoes are excellent, so I didn't bother making the eggs, I will do that for dinner.
Now I need to read the paper and have some coffee, maybe that will perk me up and make my voice come back to normal.

Voice back to normal but still total head congestion, guess it is time to switch meds, have to go read the packages.
$5 Bingo was fun, didn't win, but it was entertaining. Now listening to my DayDrinking Podcast then heading back to relax, in bed, get thru the Sunday paper and play computer games.
I must get rid of this illness is annoying.

It's Home Blessing Day .. and the kitchen. Today we grab our brooms and go after any spiderwebs on the ceiling and wipe down the lights / ceiling fans.
I am very behind today ... just starting to deal with my normal chores. Got the dishwasher run this morning so I need to get it unloaded, completed my Safewy order for delivery tomorrow morning and I did get a couple of emails out.
I need to clear my email and twitter and start working my way down my list.
I think am on the road to recovery so I don't want to do to many physical things in a day. Seems like when I did that I sort of relasped on my "cold". Did I mention I took a covid test and it was negative, I figured as much but was curious.
Off to deal with email.

It's planning day, menus - appointments, stuff for Thursday AND time to wipe down the cabinet doors in the kitchen!
I am expecting my Safeway delivery any minute now so I did clean up the kitchen a bit and took out the recycling and the old kitty food.
Watered some of the outside plants, need to refill the water bucket and finish the rest of the outside ones and then do the inside ones. Since we aren't going to have regular rain anymore I need to set a couple of days each week as watering days.
Off to work on email.

Took some allergy pills and then took a nap for a couple of hours, woke up around 1pm. Not sure if I should be concerned about all this sleep or just chalk it up to being sick. I feel pretty good but I am still congested.
So I got the dishwasher unloaded and reloaded, the kitty food cabinet restocked and put all the water bottles away. I got new ones because I have been sick, so I recycled all the old ones. BUT >>> I ordered the wrong size! My brain has been a bit fuddled while I have been sick, LOL. So now I just need to drink all of these and order the 1 litter bottles I like.
Also got the office dustbusted, so I am pretty caught up on my list. Only things left are office stuff, the RC Newsletter and Computer games.

It's Anti-procrastination Day AND time to clean out the Fridge. Toss out leftovers, check the door for expired stuff and then wipe down the shelves.
It's housekeeping day for me! I have the kitchen and bathroom counters cleared. Moved some stuff onto the balcony and sat down and enjoyed the lovely weather!!
Still need to put some stuff up on the furniture but I am waiting until she gets here for that. Housekeeping staff is in a bit of a turmoil, one got promoted to kitchen staff and then her replacement quit after a few days, so now they are hiring another person.
Time for yogurt and the newspaper.
