I'm in Illinois / Chicago area. Just got tornado warning from Echo. 72 today, but that's gonna change big time. 30 tonight, tomorrow. Snow tonight. It's crazy. Weather rollercoaster.

Just checked about the Texas wildfire crisis, as Texas is huge, and we are flying from Harlingen, TX to DFW Friday to change planes to Seattle. The fires are in the panhandle, so we should be okay, but many ranches in that area are at risk.
Thanks, Dipo, this is the first I have heard of it.

Our Final Beautiful Day!!! clear blue skies not a wisp of a cloud, a little breeze and temps going to 65.
Then the rain comes tomorrow just in time for the morning commute, at least that is the current prediction.

The wildfire in the Texas Panhandle now rivals the largest in state history, the Texas A&M Forest Service said. Here's what to know.
The rapid growth of raging wildfires in the Texas Panhandle has been staggering. Republican Gov. Greg Abbott issued a disaster declaration for 60 counties Tuesday as the blaze forced widespread evacuations. On Wednesday, the Texas A&M Forest Service said the fire had grown to rival the largest in state history.
Very high winds and very dry conditions Monday provided “the perfect set up” for the fires, said Samuel Scoleri, a forecaster at the National Weather Service Amarillo office.
