Chilly again but the normal chill, LOL. Skies are clear and blue with only a small breeze. Temps going up to 73.

Trunk or treat events have becomd very popular here as it is basically "one-stop shopping!" Some people really get into the spirit have their cars all decorated for the kidds to admire -

Looks like the forecast has warmed a bit, just a small bit. May not be the second coldest Halloween but still not like in the high 60’s and 70’s of past years. Maybe will now be in the mid to low 50’s.

As expected the cold weather and it being a school night impacted trick or treaters last night. We got 11 total. A few younger ones were out when it was still a bit of sunlight and only five once it was dark. Kind of in line with the lighter numbers over the past few years compared to 100+ 20-15 years ago when we first moved in. This morning is very cold for here at 39F this morning and still dropping before sunrise. However forecast is for highs in the 80’s this weekend.

think zlotof kids took advantage of the manytrunk or treat events around town on Sunday night as the weather was still nice and their costume could be admired! Parents favor these events too as they are supervised and really comprise one-stop shopping! Any givn event will have 25 to 60 cars!!!
Heard of a new trick or treat wrinkle from St. Louis all spooks must tell a joke to earn their treat. Since kidd have weird senses o humor, I hear this is a trip!!!!

Finally getting some very needed rain. Not a lot and no flooding locally but at least some rain. What’s surprising is our temperatures have gone from running 10F above normal to 10F below normal. 24 hours ago it was 82F for a high and today we are forecast to hit only 60F for a high. Normal this time of year is 70-72F and it looks like we won’t get back to those temperatures until late next week.
