One of New York’s wettest days in decades has left the metropolitan area stunned and swamped. Heavy rainfall knocked out several subway and commuter rail lines, stranded drivers on highways, flooded basements and shuttered a terminal at LaGuardia Airport.

Kind of cold and gloomy out but they say the sun will shine later today, LOL. Just a little breeze and temps going up to 69 and there is a slight chance of rain ... probably more north than where I live.

High Pressure has been largly MIA over the Bay Area but makes a return visit this week. Looks like THU or FRi will be warmest day. Heights near 588 dm.
By Saturday, they drop to 582 dm (per ICON) + more of an onshore breeze. So quick warm-up this week then cooler weekend.

It is lovely out, there is a nice breeze with blue skies with fluffy white clouds. Temps going up to 81, but it is supposed to get much warmer this week.

Warm, warmer to hot next three days. Friday looks to be the "hottest" day. Some mid-90s inland with 80s on the coast likely.
So cooler when? Slight cooling SAT, definitely SUN. Monday, the iCON has nice front looming but washes it out over us but a lot cooler MON into TUE.

A typhoon is heading toward southern China and Hong Kong after bringing record-breaking winds and leaving one person dead in Taiwan. Typhoon Koinu was weakening as it headed across the South China Sea toward China’s Guangdong province.

Another lovely day, it already feels like the weather is changing back to fall. Funny I am watching leaves fall from the trees in front of my living room.

Cold front continues to advance into Norcal with cloudy skies (low and high) already over the Bay Area.
ICON forecast model maintains front into late this afternoon but washes it out by this evening. Neverthe less, it does look like some rain will make it. Most north.
