Those are both great and needed services! Sniff Spot for sure is needed. So many problems at dog parks and just in general with people not controlling their dogs on or off lead.

RN I've never had (seen) grey hair on my senior head. Burke, above, is a senior too. My hair has always been a shade of brown. For all of Burke's 12 years we have had coordinated hair appointments on Fridays every six weeks.

Very pretty. I quit coloring mine 8-10 years ago. It is not all gray yet and looks different colors in different lighting. Sometimes it looks gray, and sometimes it looks brown. I did find when I was using box color on my medium brown hair the brown golden brown hues tended to come out red, so I tried light ash brown (L'Oreal Paris), and that worked out as closest to my natural color, except the first few washings I had very dark brown, and then it faded.

RN, Naja, they probably just thought you looked more rested or something. They may have noticed there is something different about you, but don't know you well enough to quiz you about it.
RN, Dipo, we don't go to South Padre Island, TX, until after hurricane season is over, although nowadays the traditional season could change at any time, I suppose. I saw something on the news today about a hurricane petering out when it hit Padre Island, TX, and immediately went to my winter Facebook haunts to see if anything was happening, and nothing was, except some of the local lads were surfing in the Brownsville ship channel, which is an infrequent occurrence. Padre Island and South Padre Island are different locations, with Padre Island being a couple hundred miles north. The two islands do not connect.
Oops, I got distracted. We are going this year from November 1 through March 1.

Looks great, Naja! Looks healthy and vibrant.
I had bleach woven in for years, there were multiple colors.
In 2019 my hair stylist had to start working at home and her set up was fine, but it was quite a drive and Her dogs. One just barked and barked and had a cherry eye, which was hard to see and had not been treated. In January 2020 I had an appointment .. And pandemic.. I was already wondering if they were masking when she said her husband was coughing, so we agreed to cancel the appointment. So I started growing out my short hair, even grew out bangs. At some point she injured her wrist so had to retire. When we had vaccines an there was a lull in COVID, I got a trim and bangs restored and never went back to anything but however my hair wants to be..
Juju, I wondered about that but figured it wasn't the same location and knew you weren't down there anyway.

A LOT of people don't know there is Padre Island and South Padre Island, so some first time visitors end up lost on one island or the other searching for their hotel and find out they are hours away from their destination. Okay, I just looked it up on Google maps. The two vacations spots are almost two hundred miles from each other by highway travel and over three hours driving time.

RN Woke up this morning to find out there was a major fire in the apartment complex that is adjacent to our community. As far as I can tell the fire burnt down at least one of the 32 separate buildings. With some variation the individual buildings hold 8 to 10 apartments each. Local news a bit sparse so far because it started at 9 PM last night. Cause not determined by the joint county and city fire inspectors. Reporter did ask the fire marshal if a meth lab was a potential since there was a large explosion shortly after the fire started. All he would say is the cause is unknown.

RN I've had my girl and boy guppies separated for over a year now, but look at the tiny thing I found in the girl tank today. It looks about a week old. I wonder if a fish had just one baby, or if it had a whole litter and this is the only one that escaped being eaten. It's separated now in a tiny isolation tank inside the big tank.

RN Since last night was the last night for awhile I won't be babysitting a dog, I went to the drive in with the Nun, double feature.
Funny part is, the first movie was that new horror movie "The Nun 2", about a demon nun haunting a convent. haha
Second was "The Meg 2" about dinosaur sharks as big as a football field.
