Country Fried Steak -- topped with country gravy, served over mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables
Or Flavorful Cajun Rice Dish with Andouille Sausage, tomatoes, peppers, onions and chicken broth.
Cheesecake for dessert.

I ordered a pickup of the country fried steak since I have a meeting a 7pm, then I will have it for lunch tomorrow, LOL.

Ditto... it sounds good, although I've never had a fried steak in my life. Must be a Southern dish, they deep fry everything.

My mother used to make that for us all the time when we were kids. Now you can't find a cube steak since forever.

Italian Cod - baked with lemon slices and served over brown rice pilaf and steamed carrots
OR
Grilled Italian Sausage - served with roasted potatoes, bell peppers and onions.
Custard Pie for dessert.

Roasted Turkey - slow roasted turkey topped with cranberry sauce, served with mashed potatoe, gravy and mixed vegetables
OR
Meatballs topped with tomato basil sauce served over linguine pasta.
Dessert was Cheescake, Pumpkin Pie or Strawberry cake.

Orange Chicken -- Battered Chicken bites tossed in Sweet Orance sauce served over Stir-Fried Vegetable Noodles
OR
Tropical Grilled Salmon - Citrus Grilled Salmon topped with Mango Salsa served over coconut rice.
Butterscotch Pudding for dessert.

I have been snacking all day, LOL, so I ordered a pickup of the special sandwich...
Tuna Salad Sandwich - Tuna, red onion, tomatoes and lettuce served with potato chips.
The Salad this week is: Greek Tortellini Salad -- tortellini, red onions, feta cheese, diced mint leaves, tomato, cucumber in a greek vinaigrette. (that sounds really good too).

We had grilled ham-or cheeseburgers, hot dogs, potato, pasta, or egg salad, tossed salad. Dessert was watermelon, brownies, or a parfait of strawberries, cheesecake, and blueberries. A nice Memorial Day lunch-

Shrimp Ceviche - with chipotle mayo, shrimp, avocado, red onion, cilantro, tomato, cucumber and lime Juice served with tortilla chips and guacamole
OR
Roasted Stuffed Poblano - stuffed poblano, rice, corn and tomato served over black bean puree and topped with sour cream.

I had the shrimp. It was really good and the guac was so fresh and good. Plus I really wanted to know what a Willy Wonka Cake was, LOL.
It was just really rich chocolate cake.

Dinner yesterday was the Memorial Day BBQ --
Grilled Chicken or Ball Tip served yummy bbq sauce and baked beans, pasta salad, corn salad, watermelon.
They had sodas, several kinds of wine, margaritas and rootbeer floats.
It was fabulous! I had it all and loved it.
