I had half and half because I couldn't figure out which one appealed. They were both fantastic.
The shrimp was cooked (of course, they can't serve raw stuff to elders, LOL) and nice a cold with all the veggies. The tostada bowl came in handy to eat with the enchilada.
The Enchilada didn't look like any enchilada I have ever seen but it was very tasty and the black bean puree was really good!
I am stuffed.

For Happy Hour we had margueritas and smacks of tortilla chips with salsa, bean dip, cheese dip, and/or guac!
Dinner was catered by a waitress/maintenance man Mexican couple - beef and/or chicken enchiladas, sstreet corn, mexican rice, fruit salad and at least a dozen dessert choices, including Churros. The husband is a performer so he brought his sound equipment and we had Mexican music during dinner.

Going out to dinner but you can have ....
Giant Meatball & Pasta - XL meatball served over linguine Pasta and marinara sauce.
OR
Chicken Pesto Casserole - chicken breast ina creamy pesto sauce baked with pasta, broccoli, cauliflower and Cheese.
Lemon Cake for Dessert.

I skipped dinner but ...
Yaki Sake Marinated Cod - cod in teriyaki sauce and sake, baked and served with steamed white rice and sauteed broccoli
OR
Sweet & Sour Chicken -- Chicken tossed in sweet and sour sauce served over rice and veggies.
Strawberry cake for dessert.

LOL, Scoot ... there is no Carlton Dog this week BUT ...
We have the 1700 Broadway Street Dog --- All beef frank topped with pepperoncini, onion, tomatoes and mustard served with potato salad.

OR
Shrimp Dinner Salad - Grilled shrimp, tomato, cucumber, peppers, Red Onion, Parm Cheese over Spring Mix lettuce.
Cream puffs for desert.
I had the meatloaf, it was fabulous and really yummy cream puffs!

I will also take the meatloaf. I would have gone with the salad, but I'm not a fan of spring mix. (to me it's like weeds LOL)

The first time I was served spring mix was in a nice restaurant at the Getty Museum in LA. I wanted to ask them if they had just picked it fresh outside but refrained. Seriously, I thought why not just invite people to go outside and graze like a cow. The stuff is awful, lol!

Tonight.... Crispy Chicken baked to perfection, served with mashed potatoes, gravy and roasted brussel sprouts
OR
BBQ Pork Sandwich -- tender pork and coleslaw on a bun served with baked macaroni and cheese.
Cheesecake for dessert.
The chicken looked good but I had the pork sandwich which was yummy, loved the mac/cheese and asked for a side of brussels sprouts which were excellent. Cheesecake was excellent as usual.
