Pretty cold out this morning, there is not one speck of cloud to keep any warmth, just clear blue skies. Currently 39 with Temps only going up to 52.

It is chilly out...currently 30. Opened up the balcony for the kitties and they don't seem to mind.
Skies are kind of gray, but bright, temps going up to 51. Weatherpeople say we are having fog, but I don't see any here.

Rainy and 40 degrees in Portland. Snow expected later this week.
Heading to SF tomorrow. The weather looks better there.

Currently it is 40 and our expected high is 45!! It is hazy and foggy out but bright with no breeze.

A bleak, brownish haze lingered over the Bay Area on Monday, obscuring the San Francisco skyline and adding to the gloom on a day also marked by unusually cold temperatures.

EARTHQUAKE ... Humboldt County, Ferndale ... 6.4 jolt, some damage to infrastructure, they are checking the main bridge and so far 2 injuries.
I didn't feel anything down here in the BayArea.

Humboldt County is home to famous old growth redwood forests. State parks officials said on Tuesday reported "minimal damage" to facilities following the powerful 6.4 magnitude earthquake and said parks remained open.

Did not feel a thing ... It is crisp and cool out, but not crazy cold like it has been, LOL.
Currently 39 going up to 57! The skies are clear and blue with a hint of a few fluffy clouds and no breeze so far.

Chicago is getting ready for Friday -- wind, bitter cold, snow. Gotta say Chicago area is good at getting through it. Friday was OUR (me and the dog) every-six-weeks hair appointments. WE want to keep on the schedule. I got mine done yesterday. Dog gets his done this afternoon. WE're ready for whatever happens.

Coldest day to hit front range in 30 years on deck this Thursday. Crank heat up. Open up your cabinets to warm air of your home. Don't let your pipes freeze, dribble your faucets. Christmas weekend is not a good one to be trying to find a very limited amount of water mitigation folks to blow hot fans on your water loss. Thousands will suffer frozen and cracked pipes with resulting water losses. Don't be one of them.

For weather geeks, this is simply incredible. The GFS drops the pressure of our incoming storm down to 959 mb. The Euro is similar at 961 mb. For perspective, pressure that low is on par with what we'd expect with a CAT 3 hurricane. This thing means business.

Crazy here. Dropped 40 degrees in an hour. Snowing sideways. It's now 0 degrees, and is expected to get colder (-15?)... before the night is over.
Fingers crossed that I don't lose power, because I can't drive in this. Me and the dogs will freeze to death!
