LOL, Mameblanche, I am giving it a little while before I move or delete. But I am blocking people like crazy and I have been reporting stuff as well.
Getting started, I got thru the paper and just ran my comforter and shams up to the laundry.
Just got a call and they are short staff so delivering meals at no charge!!! Yeah, I don't have to get prettied up to go down to the dining room.
Did a Safeway order and they are coming between 5 and 9 so that worked out, its' going to be a great day!!
Off to clear email and twitter and see what else is going on in the world.

I can tell the weather is changing my head is all congested and stuffy. Must be some new pollen hitting the streets.
Dustbusted the bathroom, then emptied it out, which lead to unloading the dishwasher and getting the coffee started.
Next I put a block in the balcony door since the wind has been blowing it closed. I need to get some sort of brace I can put on it to keep it open just wide enough for kitty travel.
Since it was getting cold last night it occurred to me that we don't have the kitty "heating pads" set up on the bed, so I dug out the extension cords and will get those set up. I like them because the Nala and Sylvester take their naps on them and then I know where they are.
Oh and I did a bit more work in the closet, moved the milkcrated into the closet under the spot where nothing hangs down. Found some earthquake supplies, I have been trying to gather those to one spot and some things that belong in the kitchen. Moving forward on that project.
Refilled my morning pills. Listening to a podcast, having my coffee and clearing email.

Well I have learned my lesson for when it is going to rain. I had a small mat at the door and an other plastic rug on the balcony. They are still drying out!
I just swept the deck and flipped the rugs around to try and get them to dry. So the door mat one is going to move into the house instead of on the deck, apparently a bunch of water leaks down along the walls, and I noticed my door got pretty wet.
Anyway, off to start the coffee, feed the kitties and get my day started.

Took down the Halloween decorations and got them put away. Then I hung the Thanksgiving board, hopefully the nail will hold it.
Also worked some more on the closet and found some more cleaning supplies, LOL.

Email and twitter done.
Had a great dinner and got the house closed up, it's a bit chilly. Was happy to see that my AC unit also has a heat function, that is very handy.
I just closed the door to the balcony so of course Sylvester and Nala, who haven't been interested in the past 6 hours are now protesting the closure, LOL.
And I got my Ballot completed, so I can drop it in the mail tomorrow.

It's a miracle .. I actually got a really good teeth cleaning and they didn't try to make me do any other procedures, except I seem to have a cavity, dammit. That I don't mind.
The other dentist group I went to, who took 35 xrays, I swear, kept me for 1.5 hours and didn't do anything but xrays and the pokie thing where they check your depths. They wouldn't clean my teeth and wanted to charge a bunch of money do several procedures before I could get my teeth cleaned.
My new hygienist couldn't figure out why the took so many xrays when there are only 18 teeth. So the old dentists wouldn't send them to my new dentist but sent them to me instead.
Anyway I am home now, with an appointment next year for my next cleaning and an appointment for my next cavity. I am trying to get as many medical things done before taxes to offset the sale of my house, LOL.

So all my routines are all off, LOL, haven't read the paper or played all my games. I did take my tablet to the dentist and was able to play a little while I waited.
And since I got home I did get email cleared, so now working on all the other things I usually do.

Almost caught up on everything. Took the newspapers out to the recycle bin and I have located my small space heater.
Have to decide if there is someplace I can put it in the bedroom that will work.

Seems like dentistry is now a profit-making racket. I needed to change dentists when my then-dentist filled his waiting room with some sort of quasi-religious books about man co-existing with dinosaurs. Aaaaaiiiiieeeeeee!!!!
Anyway, I had a very hard time finding a dentist who would have somebody clean my teeth, and then the dentist do a cursory examination of my teeth, which I suspect the hygienist has already done, and do xrays on the schedule my insurance paid for. Most of them would not even let me get my teeth cleaned without having a "consultation" to set up a "plan" for my treatment. My insurance pays for twice a year exams and cleaning and every three years full mouth x-rays. We have a dentist in Canada that we have been going to for over 20 years that we go to for any necessary dental work. We just love him and are terrified that any day now he is going to decide he should retire. And we LOVE our hometown dentist who is content to just do the other stuff our insurance does pay for.

Started the morning by moving a couple of plants on the balcony, I think I now have it set up where the AC / heat unit won't kill anyone and there are hidy places for the kitties and I can use the chair, LOL.
I really needed to move them so I could prop a bin in front of the door so it won't slam shut on anyone. My door buddy should be here soon then I can slide that back into place.
Clearing email and twitter. Off to read the paper and get my normal routines going.

Oh Juju, Jessica, the hygienist, and I had quite the conversation about how places take advantage of people. She said she had worked at Western Dental and left because of the lack integrity.
I really felt like the other dentist, the one that is covered by my Kaiser Senior Advantage thru Delta Dental Care was doing everything they could to increase the "reimbursement" costs they would receive from medicare.
They really did take more x-rays than needed, can't wait to discuss them with Jessica in February, LOL.

Kitchen cleaned up, coffee brewing, some water bottles refilled.
Also put away the spring/summer comforter so now I can figure out if I can run a Kitty Heater to sit on the sofa, LOL.

Took out some trash and recycling. Got thru all my email and twitter.
Guess I don't have to decide if I want to sell my Twitter stock, LOL, it automatically sold for Elon's offer price. That makes sense now that I think about it. I only had 3 shares and I paid $45, so they sold at $54 for a little profit. But amazingly I had to pay twitter a $38 reorganization fee!

Not sure what I am up to today. Was going out to lunch but my sister had to cancel so now I am totally free to do stuff or goof off all day, LOL.

Had a great dinner but there was some excitement. The paramedics came right during service. I later found out that one of the little Asian ladies had slipped and fell, or something like that. I only point out her nationality because they paramedics had some difficulty with language and she was refusing to go anywhere with them. They just wanted to move her out of the dining room to check her, probably blood pressure and stuff like that, and she wasn't moving. I have had dinner with her before and she is a quiet lady who doesn't speak much.
Thankfully another lady helped her, I think who spoke the same dialect as her and they got it all sorted out. And then, of course, Carlton called her daughter so daughter insisted on speaking to her so she had to get up and go to the front desk.
Not really sure what happened or who called the paramedics but she was fine and very embarrassed by all the attention and the nosiness of all us in the dining room.
They really should have a mobile phone so they can bring it to the table. Or one with a long cord that they can plug in like on Perry Mason.

Although why we need to save daylight anymore is beyond me, LOL.
Grabbed the Sunday paper, feed the kitties, opened the balcony door so they can go out if they and got a yogurt. So back to bed to read the paper.

Found some additional shams and a pillow to pack into the comforter going to Goodwill, so got that packaged and then moved it behind the chair with the other goodwill stuff. Maybe we will take that over next weekend.
Dustbusted the bathroom and did some rearranging under the sink so I could get rid of stuff I don't use.
Let me sister know that she can come for Thanksgiving. Got a notice that they are doing a Thanksgiving brunch service with wine and mimosas! So glad, I didn't want to cook and it will be fun for my sister and her friend to come over. Plus since it is during the day that works much better, drive wise.
Almost finished with the paper and I am watching a really interesting documentary on NatGeo about Ancient China. Last hour was about the Great Wall, this hour is about Xanadu. So amazing what they can figure out with satellite pictures and modern technology.
Off to Sunday Brunch.

Took out some recycling on the way to brunch and it was very busy in the dining room, all abuzz, which I finally overheard someone talking and it was ... rent increase letters went out, LOL.
I knew they were coming because it had been mentioned in the Community Forum update minutes we got last month where they indicated that costs have gone up 40%. People ... this was a clue and warning, LOL.
So I guess they have to give a 60 day notice and they can't raise the rent more than 10%, which is exactly what mine went up.
When I saw the minutes of the meeting I figured I would get a 10% increase, but I guess a few people have decided that their income level should be considered when they do rent increases. And I will say some of these people have totally forgotten their math skills, LOL, and it sounds like someone might have gotten a higher increase, but I don't think that is allowed.
Anyway, I finished up the newspapers and did a bit of dusting. I had to change out a milk crate with a small step stool so I can set up my space heater in the bedroom which led to me grabbing the pledge and duster to do the step stool and TV table.
Fun times .... Off to check email and twitter.

Ok, email / twitter done. Watered plants and got the heater plugged in and running. Refilled daily pills and wiped down my nightstands and the amazingly dusty lamp and lampshade.
LOL, I always forget about the lamps and I don't think the housekeepers do them either. Then I wiped down my desktop, so I guess we are done for the day.
And it is cold outside so I shut the balcony door and of course, Sylvester is now very interested in the closed door.

Not sure what I will get accomplished today, but I realized I forgot the timers, LOL, until the lights went out at the wrong time. So I will do that and a few other minor chores.
Maybe some laundry, for now off to read the paper and have some yogurt.
