Our hometown is getting hammered with that atmospheric river. There are flood warnings out all over the county. And then it is going to get cold Monday with lows below freezing for five days, with the possibility of snow.
Hot and humid down here in far South Texas.

Gloomy and gray looking out but not to chilly, no breeze and temps are going up to 60.
We are anticipating rain this afternoon but I hear it already rained earlier in the bay area.

It's been cool and windy but sunny here in SoCal the last few days. We desperately need rain and it's forecast to get rain on Monday/Tuesday.

Dry this morning, but the rain is coming back this afternoon and through tomorrow. I managed to get a 2 mile walk in and stay.. somewhat dry. Right now, it’s getting darker and darker with the front scheduled to hit Portland in the late afternoon.

Not bad out, for the calm before the storm. Skies are blue with white fluffy clouds, no breeze and temps are heading up to 62.
Rain is supposed to come late tonight.

Hmmmm, it is beautiful! Blue skies with a few white clouds, only 46 and no breeze.
BUT ... rain may come this afternoon and the high is only predicted to go to 56! That is a bit chilly.
We shall see.

Woke up to it raining at 3am and it seems like it may of continued until now. Skies are gray and misty, no real breeze and temps going up to 53.
Looks like rain is only 50% this afternoon but could happen all day!

Breaks in the clouds are allowing surface heating, destabilizing the atmosphere as colder air comes in above. Ground-level winds are also slightly backed SSE across some coasts/valleys under strong low/mid level flow. This could allow rotation within strong convective updrafts.

We have received 10.6" (27 cm) of #snow in the past 24 hours, which brings our storm total to 16.3" (41.5 cm). We have had a total of 33.5" (85 cm) of snow in the last 7 days.
