I don't go out much, so not often in shoes these days. Unless it's warm weather I'll be wearing socks inside, so my socks have been on before I get to my shoes. If it's warm but I'm going out I'll go and get socks in the bedroom, put them on, then go get my shoes, so it would be sock sock wander shoe shoe.

So after 24 years of marriage my wife and I had this really important discussion. 🙄😬 In the midst of replacing our kitchen sink the preference of using a sponge versus a dish cloth came up. I have always preferred a sponge and I make sure they don’t get funky. Wife prefers a dish cloth which I find to feel yucky and get funky quicker than a sponge. So which is it? Sponge or dish cloth?

I so rarely use either one. Mostly I use a brush for the dishes. And every so often I stick the brush in the dishwasher to keep it clean. For the counters and table, I use Lysol wipes or Clorox wipes. Oh boy were those hard to find during first couple years of the pandemic.

LOL, both, although I use my microfiber "rag" the most, it gets changed out daily. I have multiple sponges available if I want to use one.

I have both, but they get washed frequently. The sponge works better since I run the dishwasher more often than the washing machine.

Neither. I use a brush. I do keep a dish cloth there to wipe off the counter, but it doesn't get wet (unless I have a big spill) and I never use it to wash dishes. Sponges and wet dish clothes both gross me out. I put the brush through the dishwasher every so often.

Mrs Mack is a brush user since dish cloths are “banned”. I get to make all the “big” decisions like sponge versus dish cloth. Mrs Mack gets to make all the “small” decisions like where we go on vacations, cars, and so on. 🤔🙂

Actually I should add I use a brush for dishes to take off extra food etc before putting in the dishwasher, but I use a dishcloth or sponge for cleaning around the sink.

Oh yeah, I don't use sponge or "rag" to clean dishes, just to wipe the counters and clean up spills.

2-sided sponges (soft side / rough side) for dishes. Paper towels for spills, and to clean the counter.

The thought of a soggy dish cloth makes me cringe. I have two sponges. One is for dishes and one for cleaning the sink. I microwave the sponges to keep them clean.

I use a dish wand that has a sponge type head or I might use soap and paper towels. I use Lysol or Clorox wipes for counters and table. Currently in the midst of a MAJOR kitchen remodeling. I'll have to make sure to check the recommendations for the new counter tops. They are beautiful and ridiculously pricey so I shall endeavor to maintain perfect cleaning and upkeep. I like to bake and am already thinking of how to best use food colorings. Do they make island counter top hazmat type coverings?

Sponges. Liquid spray and paper towel for any sanitizing of counters.

New question: Does it annoy you to have to watch ads that are extremely intimate, like the new Lume deodorant for crotch odors?

she's kind of spunky so i don't mind her so much (and lume does wonders for my feet when I wear my keen sandals -- it's like magic!) But yeah, I'm always surprised when I see those commercials on my TV!

I don't care when family is around, but I am so uncomfortable around others when the commercials actually talk about "getting hard" now! They used to say erectile disfunction. Now they just use the slang.

}I think they are tacky. I especially dislike the crotch shaving razor ads.

Or the ad using a carrot to demonstrate a male problem.

I can remember back when ads said something like "Modess, Because". They wouldn't show a female wearing a bra, in a braw ad.
