That is so bizarre Sugar, thank goodness I don't have to have the open house! I can't believe how much things have changed. I mean I understand that people want to snoop around but to take things is just amazing.
It also worried me that people might try to "case the joint"; I don't know how realtors can solve these problems but my realtor did tell me about the drugs. But she said people were looking for OxyContin and valium and drugs like that.
Anyway, I have finally gotten email and twitter cleared. Haven't really been doing much else, just playing some computer games.

Sadly, there are people who pocket any kind of medication or anything else that might strike their fancy such as a knickknack or a photo, which I find to be creepy.

I am sure I have oxy-something or other in my house in a huge box of OTC meds/stuff I have collected for travel. They are stuff various doctors have prescribed for us for various procedures, and we fill them once "just in case". Bigdog cannot take narcotics at all, as the headaches he gets from them are worse than the procedure pain. I have never experienced enough pain to even consider taking a narcotic, even when I had my knee replaced.
I suppose I should go through my big meds box and take the narcotics to be disposed of at the local police station. Thanks, Dipo, and Sugar(?). Things you never think of.

I have taken some meds down to the police station. I had a couple of things that I only used a small amount of and even tho they were not expired I got rid of them. I just can't believe there isn't some clinic that could use them but it seems to be against the law, darnit.
My friend struggled with the slider door latch, went to the Ace Hardware 3 times to try and get the correct screws. This is after my sister spent a good half hour trying to fix it as well. So I took her to dinner to pay her back for the about $5 worth of screws she purchased.
And I told her it was fine after my sister fixed it but she would not let it go, LOL.
I also got all the old tape scraped off the med cabinet and the mirror piece that I need to tape up. So I can work on that tomorrow.
Let my mover know that I think he sent my contract to the wrong email address so hopefully will get that as well.
I am tired and off to bed to play games and watch "the Pretender".

Wow Juju, I would not have survived the excruciating pain of my knee replacements without medication. I remember many times crying from the pain whilst waiting for another hour to pass before it was time to take a pain pill.

Kookliebird, yes I have a place and the sale and move should coordinate nicely. I am just moving to a senior living community in downtown Concord. It is funny because it is less than 5 miles away but I will have to learn a whole new area, although it is practically a closed community in that they have almost everything you need inside the walls, LOL.

Sunday A beautiful Spring Day
Got up early and grabbed the Sunday paper, read it while I played some solitaire then I decided to take a little nap and didn't wake up until noon!! I have been tired and feeling exhausted from all the stress / activity to get my house ready for the open house, etc. So I think I just relaxed into a long nap.
Now I am working on my normal stuff, clearing eamail, twitter, ect. I need to finalize the paperwork for the new place today and maybe do a little more packing, we shall see.

Holy cow there are a ton of papers to sign for selling my house and for the new place. Just spent quite a bit of time signing the new place and just when that was done I got an email from the title company to sign stuff for them.
Finally able to do some of my business, balanced my checkbook and paid my health insurance, scheduled some other bill payments.
Now I am trying to finish clearing email and twitter. Oh I put the dishes into some hot water and just now remembered so that water is no longer hot.
Back to chores and hopefully at some point today I can do a bit of packing.

Redid the dishwater so I got that done, refreshed the birdbath and finally got thru email.
Paid my deposit and rent for May for the new place. Still waiting to see if I need to pay the May mortgage payment and dues but I am sure someone will tell me yes or no on that one.

Got the coffee brewing, starting to clear email and twitter and hopefully it will be a normal day and I won't have to execute gigantic documents.
I think I will get some packing done, and I just remembered I have a document I need to complete for the HOA. So I probably need to clear the HOA email as well.

Dumped out the birdbath, the crow was by several times yesterday and I saw a few food dunkings so the water was sort of gunky, LOL. So now there is fresh water for all to enjoy.
It's HOA board meeting day and I have a couple of things I want to get done for that so we shall see.
For now off to start the coffee, have my yogurt and see what's in the paper.

Just ordered some "spring N95 masks", they are pink, LOL. I figure since I am planning to continue to wear them for a while I should have a color other than black or white.

Got a call from my friend and she wanted to get Chinese, so off I went. Took out some trash and recycling and grabbed the mail.
Still need to make a sign for the mailbox regarding the HOA meetings. And review the board packet. Plus make the deck list and the topics I want to bring up tonight at the meeting.

Got the deck list done! Wow so glad to have it done it too quite a bit of time, but I added the fence replacements as well.
Quickly went thru all the info in the board package and have that ready to go for my meeting.
Now I can finally play some computer games!

Didn't realize I forgot to start my day here, LOL. I cleaned out my nightstand drawers and packed them up into a box. So funny I have several remotes that I need to get back to the things they control.
Got the dishes soaking, waiting for my Safeway delivery, and getting thru email and twitter.

Dishes are done, wiped down the counters and island, then used the carpet sweeper on my office run, it has been bugging me. Then swept the office, hallway and fireplace floors.
Now having some lunch since my Safeway delivery isn't here yet!

So funny my delivery came practically after I posted it wasn't here, LOL.
This morning I found some scary things in the fridge, so that has all been tossed or dealt with. I never knew pudding could go bad but I guess it has been in there a while. Dishes are soaking while I work on my egg salad (boiled the eggs yesterday).
Also cleaned the birdbath with some vinegar, then refilled it. Wiped down a couple of cabinets.
Working on clearing email while I enjoy my coffee and have already dealt with the HOA email.
