Yes, Juju, I do park outside some during the summer. My garage is small and I'm always doing something in there. But I will use it all the time now. Thanks for the ideas. The guy at the garage told me to tie dryer sheets under the hood anywhere they won't bother the engine. Said the critters don't like the smell. Said it's worked for him. I've only seen one coyote in my lifetime. There here, but not common. Even then I first mistook it for a German Sheppard dog. But the deer that happened to be in my backyard didn't make that mistake. They were obviously agitated which made me look back into the woods. There he was sitting up on a hill in the woods looking almost like the old Rin Tin Tin shows on tv. The deer scattered in all directions instead of following each other like they usually do.

Oh yes, dryer sheets! When we store our car in South Texas for the winter, we leave it in enclosed storage, but for extra caution, we also put dryer sheets inside the cab and in the engine compartment.

Just lost an HOUR on the phone with Turbo Tax trying to respond to an IRS letter asking me for more information on my return. Turns out the form they asked for was FILED WITH THE RETURN ALREADY! I really did not have time for this today.

Through the years I've had two problems with my returns. Both I was working at a law firm. Attorney got one straightened out for me. The other more involved I had to get fixed myself to get my refund check which I NEEDED as I was on sick leave for surgery. Few calls to the IRS. Then the IRS called me -- you'll have your check in a couple days. I did. The IRS was good to work with.

Well, the frustrating thing was you could no longer do the form with Turbo Tax online, and I and their specialist on the phone, took the IRS at their word. So I had to download the software on TWO different computers before I got it to work (which took the bulk of the time), before the specialist had a flash and said let's look at your original return, and BAM, there it was, already filed. So, why they sent me a letter for a form that was filed with my return is a mystery and a PITA.

So the IRS was the lame one and the Turbo Tax person caught it. I had an identity theft issue a couple of years ago with tax return and Turbo Tax was a huge help. Person on the phone walked me through every step I need to do to get my taxes filed and my identity protected. I could not ask for better customer service. THEN they refunded my money because they were not able to file.

Yes, the IRS was lame. But the TurboTax person didn't catch it until after an hour of trying to figure out how to complete the form that was already filed.

I want to pay my water bill but I need the security code that's on the bill. I can't find the stupid bill. Only the envelope. Why do they need to have a security code? Nobody else asks for one. Not even for property taxes. They should just be happy to be getting money!

Actually, it was a bill from August in my cook book. The current one is still missing and I suspect the boy dog ate it.

Robo-calls from the "Warrenty Department" using LOCAL names/numbers. I once called back one of the numbers and got the REAL person...I told her I just rec'd a call from her name/number trying to sell me car warranty. this gripe is basically all robocalls... if a company is too shady to use their real name/number then they're too shady to do business with... grrrrrr

I get the car warranty calls all the time, which is crazy. I don't have any car warranties. I bought all my cars used. Paid cash.So I know they are lying.

Case-cat He name you see may be that of a deal person or real company but the scammer spammers are using that info. This a real person or real company may be hated or blocked or reported.. I have gotten at least three calls from robots but the caller if showed my actual first and last name and actual home number. NoMoRoBo rolled it over. In reality, I have my name blocked on called if when I make a call and that number is unlisted and on The do not call list so their spoof called I'd would never be seen in real life. Madonna had some jerk using her company name and number. Ugh.

Inseam seminars we are always told never to answer because when you do, they know they have a live number, they sell it.

Inseam seminars. That's a new one. Lol! But what if you don't answer but they get the answering machine? Does that make it a live number for them to sell?

I think robo calls hang up after four rings. Answering machine comes on after more rings.

Too funny.. Sound like a sewing class.. In SCAM Seminars. I have been to senior scam seminars and just scan seminars. Very informative. I had attempted to type scam. My NoMoRoBo rolls many calls over with one ring and a display of call waiting on my phones and on my tv screen if the tv is on. And it love as a missed call. Other calls are not caught and ring several times and go to sneering machine. Most hang up.. A few leave a dial tone message and even fewer leave a message.

Score 1 for autocorrect, though that is where I wish all those calls went instead of my answering machine. 😵
