Thanks, Karuuna. I tried it, it didn't help. It has gone down a little bit. It started at 87%, now it says 85% available. I've ordered a battery, but it is not supposed to arrive till Jan. 14. The battery will probably be dead by then.

I would suspect bad battery, Hecka. I have a Dell Latitude laptop that I use on a docking station with a full size keyboard and external monitor as peripherals. I am quite remiss about not taking the laptop off the docking station, and thus my batteries die in under two years, but they are not exceptionally expensive.
Windows 10 is not all that much different from 7 or 8. Its initial configuration might look totally weird, but you can configure it to look very much like the windows XP we all used for years upon blissful years.

I had bookmarks for above message board. When I use the bookmarks, I get this. If I enter address myself in the address bar, I don't. I go to the site. I'll try redoing my bookmarks.

Maybe delete cookies for that website if you are using a browser that allows you to delete individual cookies.
Google how to do it to find out if you even can.

Sounds like the site changed part of their URL a bit, at least enough that your stored bookmark no longer points to the site. That happens and the fix is to delete the old bookmark and create a new one.

Do tablets die? I have noticed that my tablet doesn't seem to stay charged for long and now it seems to be having trouble charging so I am wondering if I need to replace it.
I don't see any way on the back to change a battery. It still works but I have to basically keep it plugged in.

Dipo. if you go to youtube.com and type the make and model of your tablet into the search along with "change battery", people have made video tutorials of how to change batteries in every tablet you can imagine.
I watched one for my old tablet, and it was not some easy thing to do. I ended up getting a new tablet instead. Not because I couldn't change the battery, but because the newer ones are just so much more powerful.

Dipo, find a wooden toothpick and probe ever so gently into the charging port and see if any fuzz comes out. Then take a hair dryer on cold and blow into the port. My iPad was doing that, and somebody told me to do that. Fixed it right up.

Oh wow, I am going to do that Juju, I have also been having the same prob with my lil I pad...
Today I fixed my sink pipes, had a really bad leak and went to U tube, followed some steps' and walla...I am fixed... Its amazing what we can do' If we just try...

I have changed keyboards and screens on laptops myself using tutorials on Youtube. I once bought a "for parts" Sony Vaio, the cutest tiny laptop ever built, VERY expensive, just for the screen, successfully changed out my broken screen for its good screen, and re-sold the "for parts" Vaio on eBay for what I paid for it. There were still a lot of salvageable parts on it. LOL.
Yep, Chewy, we empowered women can do a lot of stuff we never thought we would do with the help of Youtube.

It is charging, but not holding the charge. It will show fully charged and then I remove the charger and it goes immediately to zero.

I have a very old iPod that does the same Dipo, it only works when plugged in, I still use it like a transistor radio in the bathroom but the min I disconnect it's done. I'm sure it's the battery,

Peapod, I swear I read somewhere that someone did a search on google and was able to get the old version, but I can't remember if I read it here or on twitter.
I actually like the new version better than the old, but then I am not a very expert used of twitter. I like that the little icon things are down the left side now instead of across the top.

Peapod, I HATED it too, spent HOURS trying to figure out a way to go back, and finally happened upon a post in Twitter that had a link to an extension you could download for Chrome if you are using Chrome browser on a PC. I could have kissed the ground, and promptly downloaded it, restarted computer, and it worked!!! But then in the meantime, I had used New Twitter for about four days and was really liking the feature that you could opt to look at top trending posts OR latest posts with a simple click, and I ended up disabling the extension and going with New Twitter. LOL!
Sorry I don't have a direct link, but it gives you a place to start IF you are on a PC and use Chrome. Just realized I could check my Chrome extensions and at least see what the name of it is. It is Old Twitter Layout if that helps anybody.
Anybody who wants to follow me on Twitter, I am @juju2bigdog and I Tweet left. I have a mere 29-30 followers, and look like a bot but am not. I am also pretty good at recognizing bots and pointing them out.
