Ophilia and Grooch again...ty on ensure advice. I received it within 2 days (Back in April.) open it right away and drank one bottle. Took me 3-4 hours to finish it. It tasted ok...not bad at all.. I swear a few hours later felt better However, I went for 2nd bottle.. drank the whole thing within an hour. Couple hours later....eek...stomach problems. Duh me...a dairy product. Lactose intolerance is random for me so forget.. The "end result" w/2nd bottle not too bad (None of that horrible cramping). Really feeling weak so going to try again. This time drink it just like first bottle. I'm also off to find a nondairy prooduct just like ensure.

Jmm, ty! I have learned so much today about lactose intolerance. I googled "ensure type products non dairy".. found several but not many easily available. Did find "enpro".....then found out enpro is an ensure product. After several calls ...kept hearing about lactose intolerance vs dairy allergy. So, will try enpro, ensure plus. I won't get chocolate flavor....I think that might make it worse. I really want to use this stuff. I swear, the little I did take really helped me at the time.

KitKat, loved watching that. I remember the milkman. One morning my mom was painting the front room/dining room. She fell off the ladder. The milk man came in house and helped her (I was around 5). Years later my mom worked with a woman....her dad was the milk man.

Hecka, Burger Chef was my first job, it really was a lot of fun. I loved their condiment bar, until some little kid would come up and use their hands and we'd have to replace everything on it. LOL

We had a Robert Halls (men's clothing store) in our town! And a Lum's. And a Shakey's Pizza. And several of the others.

Not so much as an adult...however I would have two recurring dreams as a child. One had Tarzan swinging in. The other scary for me. My dad told me we had a shelter of sorts (we did not). However, the thought of it scared me a bit. So, I would have dreams with that scary siren sound (from the army movies).

My library has really good programs at night. I was all set to go up tonight to one called "A Glimpse of Alibaba". They explained Alibaba is China's Amazon and there is a documentary called "Crocodile in the Yangtze". I was all set to go see a travelogue about the Yangtze. I am glad I looked up about the movie. Ok young people! Stop laughing at me!

Yay!!! Welcome, Whoami. I KNEW if you kept hanging out here you would eventually come to a bad end, and here it is! I couldn't be prouder of you. Had never seen the Jack Webb Johnny Carson bit, but I did watch a lot of the original Dragnet.
