Sea, I've only had one so far. Today....but not even sure it was one. Erased it before listening but may have been. Very unusual to only have received one....and I don't have nomorobo. (On a side note....on iPad I love how I can slide the comma up and get an apostrophe. On another side note , if you see a comma where there should be an apostrophe....you know I messed up. Lol)

NEW Comment: So I saw a great little promotional ad on Twitter where they showed a Southwest plane being decaled with sharks for Shark Week, and I automatically assume it was for the San Jose Sharks to fly for the Stanley Cup Championships, LOL. Then I saw the Discover channel logo, hahahahahahaha, it was for the actual Shark Week.

Local channel in Chicago is airing 1969 movie "If It's Tuesday, It Must Be Belgium". It is funny and true. First time I crossed the pond was in 1969. Airline on the flight over showed that movie. How appropriate!! That trip I was touring Spain and Portugal for two weeks.

LOL I call my high school trip to Europe that! I am so very grateful I got to go, but it was kind of like 'look Rome on the left, Paris on the right'' my mom never got over the fact that I didn't go to Versailles ....I couldn't, it was a side trip, and I didn't have enough money.

Go back for Versailles as soon as you can, Texannie. Or you can just go to the Paris casino in Las Vegas. They have a very creditable replica of the magnificent Hall of Mirrors in the Palace of Versailles, and you don't have to cross the Atlantic to get there.

Since my husband has become a fuddy about traveling abroad and he loves to gamble, I would probably have a better chance of seeing it in Las Vegas! LOL

I am so peeved right now I could impart a rather impressive volley of naughty words! I have a difficult to buy gifts for hubby. He tends to get himself whatever he wants. I have the best birthday gift for him this year. I bought a prepaid VISA so it wouldn't show up on our card for him to see and placed and order online. No indication there was anything amiss. Just found an email that the order is cancelled no explanation. The email did say someone from Customer Service would contact me, this has not happened. This company does not answer the phone, asks that you leave a message and they will return in 24 hours. Big dang lie. The email gave no inkling if my card was credited or not. It better be so I can use the funds to buy it locally if possible. He works from home so will have to sneak away someplace tomorrow to try to call them so he doesn't hear. I would say screw you and never buy this item except he is keen to have it. I will try to find it locally, which might be tricky as it is rather specialized. The website does indicate someplace but I have no faith in them. Most of the links aren't working on the website. My guess is the prepaid VISA might be the culprit but the order went thru with no problems and they are not that unusual to encounter. Ding Dang Diddle Damn!!! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!

I am recanting my rant. Spoke to the business owner today. He was kind, considerate and apologetic. We determined the prepaid Visa was the issue. His product was sold at at local store so was able to purchase today. Cost a tad more even factoring in shipping than buying from the website but not bad. If I couldn't get locally I had the option of sending a check. Everything worked out well. Hubby better not look in my car trunk. He will be out a bit this weekend so I can wrap and hide his gift.

I didn't know where to put this but I find it funny....I can't believe some of the stuff that is happening because of this game. Kathleen Schmidt @Bookgirl96 · 14m14 minutes ago Friend who volunteers on rescue squad just got a call: guy fell in ditch, broke his ankle--playing Pokemon Go. I'm not kidding.

We were driving home from dinner yesterday and my daughter goes "Mom, stop!" I immediately pulled over, thinking I don't know what - she was sick or something - and she tells me she is chasing a rare Pokémon. OMG! Even funnier was we were sitting in a restaurant prior to this and at the booth behind us three grown men were going into great detail about their Pokémon adventures - and I'm not talking about 20-somethings.

I read about people who were playing the game and they actually helped apprehend a creep who was wanted for touching kids.. caught him in the act and turned him in. So score one. Plus apparently many people are racking up many more steps on their trackers because they are outside going places, even though they are still nose in screen.

LOL, our sherriff's station had to put a note on their door saying, Yes we have Pokemon, but you can catch them from outside and don't have to come into the lobby to catch them. People are so busy staring at their phones, I don't think many will see the note! And the BLVD, where there are tons of Pokemon stuff (and has been packed all night, every night since this weekend) is advertising the fact that they have them and several stores/restaurants are following along. I know several places have been staying open much later than usual because of the increased foot traffic.

Somehow the fountain in front of my office (which is an alcohol and substance abuse treatment center) got designated a Pokestop. We have had all sorts of random people wandering out front and some even coming on campus. I have filed to have it removed.

this is an advertisers dream. I wonder if you have to pay Nintendo to be a pokestop. Dylan is totally into this. He collected cards as a kid so this ws great marketing idea all those kids are in their 20s and having buying poweer now

Pamy, I think it's only $10 to be a Pokestop... I saw a report on a pizza shop that almost doubled its business by doing so. He said he then invested another $100, but that's still next to nothing!

Pamy, I said the exact same thing. Kids Dylan's age, and Caleb's, and their friends...they grew up with the cartoons. They had the cards and the toys. They talked Pokemon with their friends for hours on end for years. And in Caleb's case, with younger cousins, while he outgrew it, they were just getting into it so he's kept some interest for their sake. My 10 year old nephew is totally into Pokemon, lol, and Caleb is his favorite battle partner. It doesn't surprise me to see older teens and young 20's kids into this. And it's not a bad thing, as long as they pay attention to what's going on around them and maybe talk to each other, lol. My kids have been out constantly since the game launched, hanging out with their friends and walking and riding their bikes.

I saw a post from the ranger at one of our local nature preserves saying he found several cars parked in not allowed/dangerous areas today - one in a field (good job nesting season is over), one under a no parking sign, and one just stopped in the middle of the road - and when he found the owners they were all using Pokemon Go! It seems like all locations are opted in, and you have to opt out if you want your property not to be included.
