People is reporting that she did undergo liver transplant, but not sure if that was a cause or is verified.

It is being reported on TMZ that Gene Hackman was found dead along with his wife and dog after a welfare check on them in their Santa Fe, New Mexico home. No cause is being stated yet. I wonder if it was a case of carbon monoxide.
What a good long life he had and what a great career! He was 95.
So sad to hear about Michelle Trachtenberg!

I just read that now the deaths are "suspicious", open pills by wife's body, and no evidence of gas leak, 2 other dogs alive, and she appears to have been deceased for awhile.

His wife and dog were in the bathroom, and Gene was in the mud room.

It ends up Gene Hackman's wife died from something called Hantavirus.
"Hantavirus, found throughout the world, is spread by contact with rodents or their urine or feces. It does not spread between people."

I had a college friend who later worked at the CDC on hantavirus. We are talking 1970's. He would have cured it if he could. I suspected the wife likely died first, and he was unable to know it, The whole thing is tragic.

She definitely died first and he spent days alone there but may not have known she was dead, due to his advanced Alzheimer's situation plus his heart. They do know when his pacemaker last detected a heartbeat.

Bruce Glover, the father of Crispin Glover, played the Bond villain Mr. Wint in 'Diamonds are Forever,' has died. He was 92.
His son, actor Crispin Glover, announced the news in a Saturday Instagram post, sharing an old black-and-white photograph of his father in army attire. Bruce died of natural causes on March 12, 2025, a rep for Crispin confirmed to Entertainment Weekly. The late actor is survived by his son, after wife Betty Glover died in 2016.

💔 Not long after Shogun aired, and he was in Toronto filming a Canadian thriller with the working title Bells, I had the honour and great pleasure of interviewing RICHARD CHAMBERLAIN on the set. I also recently enjoyed his memoir Shattered Love. What a gentleman, and a gentle soul! He will be missed.
R.I.P. Sir and may flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.

quote: Val Kilmer, the brooding, versatile actor who played fan favorite Iceman in “Top Gun,” donned a voluminous cape as Batman in “Batman Forever” and portrayed Jim Morrison in “The Doors,” has died. He was 65.
Kilmer died Tuesday night in Los Angeles, surrounded by family and friends, his daughter, Mercedes Kilmer, said in an email to The Associated Press.
Val Kilmer died from pneumonia. He had recovered after a 2014 throat cancer diagnosis that required two tracheotomies.
