This company is $2.50 for a wash and $1.50 for a dry, which is much better than the previous company which had raised it to $2.75 for washer or dryer.
Plus the machines were broken down frequently with difficultly getting repairs.

So I spent some time uninstalling a bunch of games off my phone that I never installed. Then got rid of the CSCGo app and added the AirWallet.
It took me less than 10 minutes to load it up and I actually took the time to read the agreements before I accepted, LOL.

It's Clean Your Purse/Car Day AND time to mop the bathroom floor.
The bed "remodel" is underway, pillows are de-cased and on the floor, gathered up all the stuff to take to the kitchen, then got ready and went to have some lunch - soup and Philly Cheesesteak.
Now back and listening to Taran, coffee is brewing, working on email/socials.
Coffee done, off to get some and clean up the kitchen, might be time to run the dishwasher.

Saturday ... a day for fun and relaxation ...
I have housekeeping today so have been getting the house ready. I got all the counters cleared in the kitchen and bathroom. Cleared all of Nalas toys out of the bathtub, got the dishwasher unloaded and reloaded, then gathered all the trash into the bag that Karin takes away.
I had a couple of plastic bags to deal with so cut my name off and threw them out. Refilled water bottles, brewed coffee and went thru all the kibbles to pull some to send to my sister.
Still need to get the scratchers off the floor in the LR/Office but that can wait until she gets here.
Back to email/socials.

Housekeeping came and went, hopefully she got whatever it is that is bringing in the few ants I have found. I did wipe down the heat register in the bedroom, when I moved the Kitty Stairs I noticed it was filthy, LOL.
So many other things got cleaned in addition to Housekeeping. I got the bathroom and bedroom back together, plus some of the office.
Will do the rest later.

Sunday ... a day for Football, I've heard, LOL ...
Got the house opened up, brewed some coffee and was getting ready to go out for a great belated birthday lunch, but .... my sister called and she has 2 flat tires is really annoyed and waiting for Triple A.
So I am all dressed up and nowhere to go, well not really true, LOL. I will go down to brunch and play some bingo and then figure out what I will do for the rest of the day.

It's Home Blessing Day AND we are in the master bedroom, time to get the things out from under the bed and put them where they belong!
I brewed the coffee while I cleaned up the kitchen, working on email/socials and listening to Taran.
Nala just brought a pigeon feather in from the balcony, now a bird cannot get on the balcony unless they are smaller than the 1/2 inch square netting, LOL. Must have fallen down between the boards on the balcony above. Very surprising.
I did grab the laundry bag out from the closet and will be filling it for pick up. I have some towels and other big things that need to be done. At some time this week I shall venture upstairs with my one load of "delicates" and the cool blanket and see the laundry room.
Also did a Walmart order, Safeway doesn't seem to have the FiberONe HOneyNut Cluster cereal that I like so got some there along with the AA batteries I needed.

It's Planning Day AND Today it's time to attack the clothes pile. This pile is either on a chair, on top of the hamper, dresser or at the foot of your bed. Set your timer for 15 minutes and grab some hangers or start folding.
LOL, too funny, I have been gathering up clothes to go out to the laundry. I have some towels that probably still smell like Sylvester so I am throwing those in, and I have been looking around to see if there are any other things like that to throw into the laundry bag.
I brewed the coffee, cleaned up the kitchen, it is a much easier job now that I only have one or two plates of old kitty food. Still trying to figure out what floats Nala's boat, LOL.
Not sure what I will work on today, maybe the Newsletter or my Retirement account - I need to redo my spread sheet with all the new investments we made to protect my increase in value.
Off to work on email/socials while I listen to Taran.

Kudos to Miss Carey except for maybe ten minutes of help she has completely cleaned out and reorganized our pantry by herself. It’s a large walk-in pantry roughly 8 feet by 8 feet lined with built in shelves on the back wall and both sides. Over 23 years it had collected a lot of extra and sometimes seldom used mixers, blenders, crockpots, electric grillers, extra glasses, coffee cups, etc. Lots of stuff for a yard sale or donation. Funny thing was we found a wedding gift from 28 years ago we had forgotten about.

It's Anti-Procrastination Day AND time to clean off the nightstands! Get the tissues, cups and stuff that has piled up, toss and put away. The grab a feather duster or dust rag and dust the surface.
So funny I was working on my nightstand this morning because I my morning pill container fell behind it. So I rearranged it so that doesn't happen anymore, this is the second time.
Have a haircutt today and Bingo tonight. Still having trouble with my left knee (the good one) but I have determined it's not the knee and probably a pulled muscle/tendon (I don't know what's in there). I rode my bicycle yesterday and almost screamed when my left knee went up, it hurt so bad. So had to stop that.
Today I am going to see if the Cubi can help, I did do some independent leg lifting exercises that I got from Lazyfit which I will also try and work in today.
For now working on email/socials, getting ready to go up for my haircut.

Well Dipo I am a bit jealous of the numerous projects you have listed over time. 🙂👍 I envy your drive and schedule. You unknowingly have been an inspiration. I have always imagined your place is the model of organization and order. Have to say as we work room by room I’m developing some OCD about keeping it that way. 😬

So I did my lazyfit and it didn't hurt my knee/leg, and I determined that it is a bit swollen on the underneath. Still going to give my Cubi a try as well.

It's Errand Day AND time to go after the dressers! Get rid of anything that is not necessary!
I don't think I have much on my list for the day. I found some more laundry to go so added it to the bag, grabbed some yogurt and the paper.

I did empty and bin I want to get rid of, put the blanket in the empty drawer of my file cabinet. Now I can trash that bin.
Afterwards I did use the cubi, it was ok. Didn't hurt my leg like the bike did, so now I am going to research if there is a way to reduce the swelling since I don't even know what I did to get it, LOL.
Off to clear email/socials.

Carey spent the majority of the day cleaning out our “junk” cabinet in the kitchen. It’s the one cabinet and counter top that really doesn’t work in our typical food prep routine. The phone and answering machine…yes we still have a house phone that’s a bit of a throwback to when the Army didn’t trust cell phones and required we have a landline….are on the counter. We also use that counter as our cell phone charging station and at the peak there were four cell phone chargers there. Two for private and two for work cell phones. In the cabinets below we had accumulated things like old phone books, extra chargers, assorted cables, and just about anything you can think of that needed to be put out of sight quickly. Embarrassed to admit but it was a disaster. All cleaned out now and has become the storage area for empty canning jars and related items. As for me, just helping Carey when I can and doing other little chores like cleaning out the wine cabinet of wines that have gone bad, minor prep work in the powder room to prepare for the remodel, and little paint touchups here and there.

It's Clean Your Purse/Car Day AND time to remake your bed. Get someone to help you flip/turn the mattress. If you have some fabric spray spritz your linens or if you have had any colds or flu's in the house lately consider spraying your mattress and pillows with an anti-bacterial spray.
I have Resident Council today and I should try to finalize the Newsletter. I will have to check my list for something I have been putting off, LOL.

Really hard to tell if wine has gone bad without opening it. We had five or six bottles that were 20 years plus or minus old. I started with the oldest and opened one at a time. If I found one that was good we would have stopped opening wines and drank the good one that night. Had five bad bottles in a row that are had turned.

Carey completed the second phase of the junk cabinet and drawer clean out and reorganization today. This morning was the junk drawer. Not as many surprises but still a lot that got thrown out.

Got the kitchen cleaned up and the dishwasher going. Even tho I miss Sylvester it is amazing how quickly I can clean up the kitchen now and how little kitty food is going into the trash.
Off to my Birthday lunch (we have been trying for some time now since my birthday was on the 9th, hahahahahaha). Last week was the tire incident, the weekend before her boss signed them up for a Harvest Fair, so hopefully, I am afraid to jinx it, we are off to steak and baked potato, LOL.

OMG, when did the banks start closing on Saturday!! I had a whole plan worked out to have lunch, get kitty grass and get dimes/ones from the bank that would not waste gas! But then the bank I went to wasn't open on Saturdays so we had to go downtown, at which my Sister bitched the whole way because she doesn't like traffic and going into downtown.
Thank goodness there was bank parking in the lot, for free, or I would have never heard the last of it.
Anyway back home, it's hotter than it was supposed to be so I am now tired, and full of fabulous steak and baked potato.
Nala is thrilled with her new kitty grass. Off to finish reading the paper and pay some computer games.

My starter husband's birthday was 9-9-49. I only remember it for the synchronicity of it.
And, wait, one of your kitties died? I was out of touch for a few weeks this summer and missed it. Hugs, honey.
